After a couple of valiant efforts Jason concedes that there might be some skill involved after all. Andre gets ready to demonstrate a high wind take off. Andre flew low to the ground and was hardly penetrating at all. See the video
Next up it was my turn to prove that it could be done. This was probably not the best decision I ever made, but I just wanted to take off because Jason had not managed to! Fortunately the wind died down a bit and I was able to launch.
It was not the nicest flight I ever had and I was a little concerned that the reserve was still in the car, so I did a very short circuit and landed as quickly as I could. After all, I had proved my point.
