Flying the Falls
After the successful launch of 'Flying the Fish' in 2006 Mark Becker, Tjeerd Beens and Mark Wegener have compleed their second stunning adventure across Africa by ultralight aircraft.
What I liked...
This film is simply stunning. It is just loaded with awesome scenery throughout. We are taken on a journey across Africa to the majestic Victoria Falls. Along the way we are treated to some of the richest images of 'the real Africa', as Mark Becker describes it. Encounters with hippos, elephants, giraffes and gazelles bring the excitement of true adventure to life. Production values rival anything you will see on TV, with super-steady aerial photography set to an authentic African score. Everything about this film is leaps and bounds better than 'Flying the Fish', which, although good, never quite had the professional polish that this film has.
Along the journey we follow the teams trials and tribulations; broken propellers, boarder-crossing issues, close encounters with Africa's wildlife.
Would I buy this film. A resounding YES, 10/10!
