Jason is off to Turkey
Two weeks of SIV and Acro - Lucky Git! | For those of you that actually read this stuff (anyone?), Jason is my identical twin brother. He lives in the UK and I live in Canada. I received a phone call from him last night (3am his UK time). He was just finishing off his packing after a worried hunt for his lost passport. After 4 hours sleep he would be taking the London Underground into work, complete with all his luggage for the trip. After work he was then planning on catching his flight to Turkey, arriving in the early morning of Saturday, ready to start his second 3 day SIV course with Jocky Sanderson. Why am I telling you this? Well, he plans to e-mail me everyday with an update on his progress, and possibly photos too. I plan to keep the site updated with his news.
His itinerary will be:
3 days SIV with Jocky
4 days flying acro with local pilot
3 days SIV with Jocky
4 days acro with local pilot and/or XC flying
Return to UK
I am hoping he will be able to compile a review of the area, with details of places to stay things to do and people to hook up with for instruction. If he gets any video footage you will have to wait until his return to see it. As for the passport, he did find it in the end and managed to get to work in the rush hour with all his luggage. As for what state he will be in when he gets there, my guess is the ecitement will get him through.
