Introduction
The first installment in the series, Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon originally started off as a spin-off of the Harvest Moon series containing the main elements of Harvest Moon (farming, raising animals and marriage), combined with traditional RPG elements (Sword fighting, levelling up).
Story
A young man, Raguna, stumbles upon the farm of a young woman named Mist. Raguna, at the state of collapsing, is saved by the strange Mist. It's discovered that Raguna has no memory and is suffering from amnesia. After deciding his name, Mist offers him her abandoned farm north of her home, hoping that while tilling the fields, he'll regain his memory.
