Event 1: The Old Bully
To trigger, if playing as a boy: Julius must be at 2 hearts or above.
If playing as a girl: Candace must be at 2 hearts or above.
Enter Waffle Town between 7:30am and 10:50am on a sunny/cloudy day.
Julius walks up to Candace, who is taking her usual walk just outside of the tailoring shop, and greets her. He tells her she hasn't changed a bit. Candace, nervous and confused, asks him who he is. He tells her he's Julius, whom she used to play with a lot when she was little. Doesn't she remember his fabulous hair...? Candace does suddenly remember him, though she thought he was an ill-tempered little girl. Julius laughs that she thought he was a girl, and calls her silly. Before Candace can say anything, Luna walks up and demands Julius's attention. Is he the mean "girl" who called Candace ugly when she was little!? Candace flees. Julius, taken aback by Candace's sudden departure, stutters a moment, then tries to remember. He admits that he might have done something like that in the past... Luna gets angry and tells him he's a bully and that it's all his fault that her sister turned into such a shy person! When she asks for his excuse, Julius admits that young boys would tease the girls they liked, but Luna just gets more angry and tells him that that's not an excuse! She tells him he hurt Candace's feelings and needs to make up for it. But how? Luna asks him what's the one thing he's good at, then he calls it blackmail.
Event 2: 120% Sure!
To trigger, if playing as a boy: Julius must be at 3 hearts or above.
If playing as a girl: Candace must be at 3 hearts or above.
Enter Waffle Town between 7:30am and 10:50am on a sunny/cloudy day.
Again, Julius has stopped to talk to Candace while out on her morning constitutional, and again, Candace is too nervous to talk to him. First Julius asks her why she hasn't worn the outfit he recently gave her. Candace just shakes her head. Julius then asks if she doesn't like the clothes he makes. Candace hesitates and turns her back on him. Julius then asks if she's still mad at him for what happened when they were kids. Candace shakes her head. Julius, finally fed up by Candace's silence, walks up close to her and demands that she look at him and speak! Candace turns to him with a confused look, but still says nothing. When their eyes meet, Julius suddenly freaks out and backs away, then turns away, saying his heart is racing. Candace tries again, walking up very close behind him, and Julius freaks out again and blurts out "Don't touch me!" Candace gets scared and runs away. Julius turns around and tells her to come back. He didn't mean that! Luna steps in and asks him if he's there to pick on her sister again! Julius, frustrated, momentarily bursts into tears and then says that she's got it wrong - he came to propose to Candace! Candace, nearby, is shocked but doesn't move any farther. Luna asks him if he loves Candace and he says he does. By now, Candace is blushing and obviously pleased with what she's hearing. Luna, not convinced, asks him if he really means it. Juli insists that he does; he's 120% sure of it! Luna turns to Candace and asks her if she believes him. Candace answers by walking over close to Julius, and after Luna shrugs and leaves a big heart appears between the two of them.
Wedding Ceremony
Three days after the above scene, you'll get an invitation to Julius and Candace's wedding. They will be married at the church on the appointed day. (It is possible for the appointed day to be the same day that you get the invitation, meaning that it will be in your mailbox once you return home from the ceremony...)
Childbirth
One season after their wedding, enter Julius's house. Candace will introduce you to their newborn daughter, Angie.
Fully-grown Angie
One season after Angie is born, enter Julius's house again. Candace will again introduce you to Angie - a young girl who is a nice balance between her parents. She looks like Julius, but acts more like Candace, though she has more self-confidence than her mother and is interested in things like mining and making jewelry in addition to sewing.
