Foraging Guide

Very Berry

A sweet yellow and orange berry with green leaves, somewhat resembling a large yellow strawberry.

Season: Spring - Summer.

Amount: Five per area.

Found: Entry to Carpentry, across from stump where Joe & Kurt work. Across stream at Harvest Goddess Lake area, underneath tree. The far right of the Villa area before entering the walled grounds.

Hint!: A culinary building block and key ingredient in jams, a lot of people love these sweet, unique berries. Gwen, Woody's granddaughter and Bob the bulky farmer both enjoy them.

Moondrop Flower

A short yellow flower with five petals.

Season: Spring - Summer.

Amount: Five per area.

Found: Carpentry Area, behind the stump where Joe & Kurt work; to the right if entering area from your farm. In the Villa area below the patch of Very Berries before entering the walled area of the Villa. Before Entering the Goddess Lake area behind the sign post reading "Harvest Goddess Lake". In the far left hand corner of the Harvest Goddess Lake area just across from the pond.

Hint!: What girl doesn't love flowers? For beginner Cassanovas, try gathering a few of these bouquets to start to wedge your way into your girl of choice's life.

Herb

A simple, thin green plant with several leaves on its stem.

Season: Spring - Winter.

Amount: Grows alone.

Found: Carpentry Area just beside the entrance if coming from your farm on your immediate left; just beyond the very berry patch; behind Joe & Kurt's work stump; after the turn in the road leading to the café and bar. Behind wall entrance to villa grounds off to the left and below the Very Berries on the right side of the Clove Villa area. Outside the Café & Bar on the edges of the dirt circle. Before entering the Goddess Lake Area and in front of the patch of Moondrop Flowers. Beside the patch of Blueberries beside the Café. In the Harvest Goddess Lake area between the bunch of Very Berries & Cranberries; along the edge of the stream; beneath the trees on the left side.

Hint!: Gather herbs when you can if you're a culinary whiz or looking to complete the Fishy Story ending. This gift of nature will come in handy in either situation!

Weed

A fatter, deep green plant with several spiky-looking leaves.

Season: Spring - Winter.

Amount: Grows a single weed by itself.

Found: Carpentry Area just beside the entrance if coming from your farm on your immediate left; just beyond the very berry patch, behind Joe & Kurt's work stump; after the turn in the road leading to the café and bar. Villa area between Very Berries & Moondrop Flowers; behind the walled entrance to villa grounds off to the left. Outside the Café & Bar on the edges of the dirt circle. Before entering the Goddess Spring Area and in front of the patch of Moondrop Flowers. In the Harvest Goddess Lake area to the left beneath the trees.

Hint!: Weeds cannot be sold or eaten, so what's their point? Dog food! Even if you can't eat them, Fido can. It's the most cost-efficient way of feeding man's best friend, so stock up on weeds to save some money when feeding your dog.

Blueberries

A group of round, purple-blue berries on a thin green stem.

Season: Spring - Summer.

Amount: Five per area.

Found: In the Café/Bar area on the right side of the building past the entrance. In the Sacred Land of Praria Forest (after unlocking it through the Treasure Hunt endings) on the far right past the field.

Hint!: The girls around here love to receive these rare berries, especially one who stays secluded in Clove Villa most of the time. Dia will open up very quickly once Blueberries come into the picture.

Medicinal Herb

A purple-red version of the Herb with pointier leaves.

Season: Spring - Winter.

Amount: Grows alone.

Found: In the Harvest Goddess Lake area to the left beneath the trees. Carpentry Area just beyond the very berry patch; behind Joe & Kurt's work stump; after the turn in the road leading to the café and bar. Outside the Café & Bar on the edges of the dirt circle. Behind the Cranberries on the eastern outer wall of Clove Villa's grounds. Beneath the trees on the left side of the Harvest Goddess Lake area. Upon entering the walled area around the Villa, near the trees on the left.

Hint!: Those who love tea will loves the herbs that make it, especially if tired. Medicinal Herbs, even if you can't make tea from them, can restore your health quickly with a satisfying bitterness.

Cranberry

Round, red berries with yellow tones grouped together on a green stem.

Season: Summer - Fall.

Amount: Five per area.

Found: Beside the Villa on the right, behind the Very Berries, almost behind the fountain beneath more trees. In the Harvest Goddess Lake area past the stream between the tillable square and Very Berries.

Hint!: Cranberries are used for several recipes involving fruits, such as jams and flans. A tasty berry for any chef.

Full Moon Berry

An oblong golden colored berry.

Season: Fall.

Amount: Grows alone very slowly.

Found: behind the Café & Bar. Walk around the front of the building, past the side door and around towards Maple Lake. When you can walk no further, the berry should be there if fully grown.

Hint!: Though the Full Moon Berry is the only berry you are unable to make jam out of, it restores a mass amount of energy and most people like receiving them as gifts.

Walnut

A rounded, brown nut with a slit from top to bottom.

Season: Summer - Fall.

Amount: "Grow" alone.

Found: Before entering the Goddess Lake Area behind the sign reading "Harvest Goddess Lake". Outside the Café & Bar on the edges of the dirt circle. Carpentry Area just beyond the very berry patch and on your left when turning to enter the Café/Maple Lake area. Beneath the trees on the left side of the Harvest Goddess Lake area. Upon entering the walled area around the Villa, near the trees on the left.

Hint!: It's said that a certain Café and Bar owner really digs these bountiful tree-spawn. Wallace seems to like Walnuts just as much as he likes to serve his customers and fresh fish.

Mushroom

Brown topped fungus with a miniature version of itself growing below the larger shroom.

Season: Fall - Winter.

Amount: Five per area.

Found: Carpentry area to the left of the main Carpenter's Shop building where Harvest Sprites are seen in occasionally. In the far left hand, upper corner of the Harvest Goddess Lake area. Under the trees on the Villa's left side.

Hint!: With some milk and these appetizing looking fungi, you can make a delicious and creamy soup, or else sell all these seasonal mushrooms for profit!

Cat-Mint Flowers

A weeping-looking plant with several thin, oval pink blooms.

Season: Summer - Fall.

Amount: Five per area.

Found: Just off to the right of the entrance to the Café & Maple Lake area.

Hint!: These rare and pretty pink flowers are all the rave with the girls in town, especially Lyla the local florist. A couple of these as a gift could easily win over the heart of this romantic!

Moonstone, Rare Metal, Iron Ore, Copper Ore, Pontata Root, Limestone, and Blue Rock

Season: Spring - Winter.

Found: by using your hoe on the tillable ground on your farm, in Praria Forest (after unlocking it through the Treasure Hunt endings), or the single square at the Harvest Goddess Lake. Finding any of these is random.

Hint!: "Mining" these hidden treasures can be a simple everyday task that earns a pretty good income if you find enough loot. Selling these items to the Carpentry, Florist, and Tool Shop is well worth the effort!
