Bosses are found in the Elemental Shrines, the game's dungeons. All bosses enter rage mode after losing about 50~60% of their health and gain additional attacks, an attack boost, and a speed upgrade.

Earth Element Boss

Moleman

Burrows around constantly trying to hit you. Sometimes crashes into rock and becomes stunned for a short period of time. When standing on the surface, he will swipe at you if you stray to close, throw walking explosives that home on to you and leap at you, and spin into a tornado at you. If you get hit by the tornado while under-leveled or under equipped, it is likely you will die.

Fire Element Boss

Crabotron

Fires machine gun repeatedly at you. Will either use one arm and fire a few times at you or use both arms to spray sides, but not in front of it, allowing you to get some free hits. Has a bubble attack that is extremely slow moving, but rather damaging as there are so many of them. Tosses far bouncing grenades from side sometimes. Cannot remember any additional attacks.

Water Element Boss

Obilitgator (Or something like that)

Extremely Difficult boss. Has many AoE attacks that stun heavily, mashing Jump is the best way to recover from a fall, hopefully preventing the rest of the combo. Continue running around him to avoid the leaping strikes until he fires off a blast from his fist or feet. Now you have free hits and can complete an entire dual blade combo w/ ultimate technique if you're ballsy. When he does push ups, expect fist related attacks. When he does what appears to be squats(?), look out for leaping leg work. After you lower his immensely large health bar to rage mode, this is when it gets intense. He gets more combos and fires multiple shots in quick succession at faster velocities. It is entirely possible to die in one hit. Might need to grind up levels or farm up better armors.

Level 25 Dual Blades w/ moderate equips and level 5x dual swords -Biri Biri, still haven't defeated him after several attempts. Takes 3xx x 2 from fist cannons at rage mode with maximum hp of upper 300's.

Biri Biri Guide. Requirements : Magic Staff, Hell Staff used in my case, and good Kite skills. Deplete the boss' HP to rage with your normal weapon (Dual Swords in my case) and begin sniping him with your basic magic attacks. Use the ranged part and avoid comboing into the AoE attack. To stay safe, dodge to the right when you feel you might be in danger, or after every one or two hits. Keep your distance, and ONLY Strafe to the right. Strafing to the left will make you more likely to get hit by double fist cannon, and will kill you. Double jumping around him in a counterclockwise direction is acceptable too, but keep your distance. Since I still haven't figured out how to kill him conventionally, I've resorted to chipping away at him with magic. I was still level 25 at the time :(

Wind Shrine

Desmadeux(?) When you first enter, you see a cut scene of him getting destroyed by the out-of-control spirits. The Masked Man than revives him and throws him at you. (Makes you wonder why he bothered killing it... :/)

Laughably easier than Obilitgator. He doesn't hurt as much as the Water Shrine's boss, and he has much more openings (announced by his laugh). If you changed to Staffs like I did, and play safely as you would to the Water Shrine's boss, than you will eventually chip him to death. As long as you keep moving, you can avoid most of his attacks, which are mostly melee slashes that can shatter and spray shrapnel at you, and basic wind magic. He will sometimes fly to the center of the stage and spray the entire area with wind magic, but you can easily double jump over it, or simply move around as it is extremely inaccurate (standing still guarantees at least one will hit you though). In rage mode, he performs the attack more frequently. He will link attacks like the previous boss, but is still going to be open when he laughs. Just watch him as you run around to learn his attacks and counter accordingly. Evade will be your best friend.

Out-of-Control Spirits

Nothing you can do here. Just die and watch the cutscene. Afterwards, return home, heal up, and head to the Dragon Shrine to fight a mini-boss.

Fused Darkness(?)
Really easy to fight. Defeat it and the 5 ghosts that accompany him to advance the story.

Floating Island, Ending

Legendary Golem
Treat him like you would any large monster. Easily beaten. After you stun him, use the Finishing Move on him and watch the cutscene.

Masked Man Round 1 Deplete him to 70% HP to proceed storyline.

Masked Man Round 2 After you deplete him to 70% HP again, he will blast the entire area and instantly kill you. Watch cutscene.
Important Notice!
Depending on how many friendships you have at level 6, you will gain [X + 2](?) Extra Lives during the Battle. Every time you die, your body will be lifted into the air, revived at Max HP/RP, and sent off with words of encouragement by your friend. Question Mark after the X + 2 is a rough estimate as I wasn't paying attention to how many times I've died, and me guessing Sonia and Goblin Chief give you an Extra Live each.

Masked Man Round Finale Defeat the Masked Man once and for all to complete the Main Story plot. After you deplete him to 30% HP, he will turn on his 'Rage Mode' temporarily where the camera is unlocked, and he sends three of his clones to attack you. Avoid them as best as you can, you might die a few times, and using a potion isn't a good idea, but if you can survive long enough to land a few good combos on the main body, he will turn off his 'Rage Mode' and resume battling you as normal. Deplete the remainder of his health to end the Storyline and proceed to restoring Sonia to her body, and finally marrying the man/woman of your dreams.
