Secrets (Harvest Moon: 64)

There are tons of small secrets in Harvest Moon 64, some of which make the game easier, some make the game a little more amusing.
[b]Restoring the Vineyard[/b] It's a surprisingly simple task, really. First thing's first: Befriend Duke and the Harvest Sprites. Give Duke verryberries, and the sprites the herbs that grow right next to them until Duke gives you the "Door to Heaven" wine and the Harvest Sprites start to talk about it. Then just proceed to make an offering to the Goddess, except now there's a "Grape Spirit" option. Once you do that, nothing happens until Fall 7th when the vineyard is revived and Karen will come late at night to invite you to see it and receive a special photo if her heart level is up to yellow.
[b]Music Box[/b] On your farm there's a tree next to the pond for refilling your watering can. Check it, and you'll find a map. Follow the directions and dig there 10-12 times and you should unearth a broken music box. Become friends with Rick and eventually he'll fix it. You can then give it to the girl of your choice.
[b]Horse/Dog Race Medal Trick[/b] Here's a trick to bet as many medals at the races as you want for free. Bet as many medals as you want on each entrant, but instead of hitting OK, hit the B button to exit out of the screen. Now don't talk to her again until the race is over. You should get medals for nothing!
[b]To Moon Mountain[/b] To easily get up moon mountain before the bridge is built, go up to the tree behind the carpenter's hut and hit A. You should climb the tree and be able to continue. You can get back down by running to the area of the cliff over the cave and hitting A.
[b]Free Wine[/b] Go to the bottom area of the Wine house in the Vineyard. Bring out your bottle and face the wine kegs. You can fill up your bottle and get drunk as much a you want!
[b]Free Milk[/b] If you want a bit less theft, you can also just use the bottle on your cows for an infinite supply of drinkable milk.
[b]Karen's Secret Favorite[/b] Here's an easy way to get Karen up to pink very fast. Take your dog and go find her, preferable somewhere where time doesn't pass. Keep talking to her with your dog over and over. After a good while her heart level should increase until its at pink.
[b]The Bad Father[/b] On the day of you child's birth, get on your horse and head down toward the buyer. Turn the screen with the R button until the buyer's on the bottom. Go to the side and try to ride past him, then jump off. You should get out.
[b]Wife Names Child[/b] If for some reason you cannot attend your child's birth, your wife will name him. Names include Kelly, Liya, and Mint.
[b]Walkin' on Air[/b] Go to the Vineyard and right before you enter, turn left and go out into the black area. This is just a sorta cool glitch and doesn't do anything really.
