The hawker might appear sometimes when you want to sell your animals. He is a very shady and suspicious looking person, but might help you out once or twice in the things he gives you.

Items Received

Power Berry: sometime during Fall of your 1st year you may sell your chicken and instead of the Livestock Dealer showing up, the Hawker will. He will offer to trade you a Power Berry for your chicken. If you agree, he will leave you the Power Berry and walk away with his new hen following behind him. Bell Tree: Sometime during the Summer of your 2nd year the Hawker will appear at the entrance to your ranch. He'll claim he has a "money tree" and offers to sell it to you for 20000g. It is really a tree with bells on it that can call your cows towards the barn. Not recommended if you want to become a millionaire. Magical Bean: During the Fall of your 2nd year you may sell your cow and instead of the Livestock Dealer showing up the Hawker will. He'll offer to trade you a magic bean for your cow. If you agree, the bean will be in your shed. Plant it at the Mountaintop during spring and a beanstalk will grow. There's no need to wait; simply plant it, leave the Mountaintop, and come back. At the top, you are rewarded with a golden egg for working hard; you will automatically sell the egg to the Peddler for 10000g.
