Spring
Spring 1st, New Year's Festival
A pretty simple festival, to ring in the new year you go to the town square and see how many people you can drink under the table before your lights go out as well. People will leave gradually as you out drink them.
Spring 8th, Sowing Festival
The king chosen in last year's harvest festival will go up in a hot air balloon with someone and spread seeds throughout the area. Talk to Lillia to release the balloons if you're not the king. If you are, then choose from Ann, Karen, Popuri, Maria, Elli, Stu, and Kent to take up in the balloon with you. You will get a picture for being king this festival.
Spring 17th, Horse Race
Here you will be able to ride your horse to victory, or bet on other horses to win medals. If you win, you'll get a new picture in your photo album. But with medals, you can exchange them for various prizes.
- 500 medals - Sutaining Carrot - helps to train your horse to be faster.
- 1000 medals - Stuffed horse - A doll that sits on top of your organizer in your house.
- 3000 medals - New Stable - This gives your horse stable a new paint job.
Spring 23rd, Flower Festival
"This festival is dedicated to the Goddess of Spring. In the old days, we carried around a statue of the Goddess. But today, young girls in the village dress up in costume." - Anna
From the 18th to the 22nd you can vote for your favorite girl to be the goddess. The people gather to celebrate the peacefulness of spring and to wish for a blessing from the goddess. Here you can buy a power berry from the Salesman, an empty bottle from Rick, and some pink cat mint flower seeds from Lillia. After the goddess comes out, you can choose from the other girls to dance with, while the king dances with the goddess.
Summer
Summer 1st, Fireworks
At dusk, go out to the spot where your girlfriend will be watching the fireworks from. Ann is at her ranch, Karen is at the Beach, Popuri is up Moon mountain, Maria is at the town square, an Elli is at the Bakery. You'll talk a little afterwards, and then, if you're good friends with her, you'll set off some sparklers of your own.
Summer 7th, Bamboo Float
This festival starts AFTER you get married. Your wife will meet you outside your house after dark and take you down to the riverbed. You will make a wish and send it down the river on a small boat. Your wife tells you that your wish will come true if the boat stays afloat.
Summer 9th, Vegetable Festival
This isn't a very good festival. You can enter a vegetable to be judged among everyone else's. To win, bring a vegetable that just grew the day of the festival. Though nothing happens if you win, so its all pretty lame.
Summer 17th, Firefly Festival
"At the Firefly Festival we send off our ancestor's souls after they have come back to see us. The glimmering "fireflies" sent out on the ocean are very beautiful." - Anna
Here is an interesting festival. Everyone gathers at the beach during the night and float off firefly lights to guide the spirits back home. If you gave Rick some moonlight stones earlier in the year, he might give you a firefly light before the festival.
Summer 24th, Sea Festival
"The original idea of the Sea Festival was to pray to the ocean god to ward off accidents. Brave young men used to swim all the way to the island to show how safe it was." - Anna
The Sea festival opens the swimming season. At the end of Summer. In any case, all you need to do is hit the A button as fast as you can to swim to the end. The first year you win you get a photo and the invincible Katori, which is rumored to keep your greenhouse from being blown over in a hurricane. Rumored. Every year after you get about 200 wood.
Fall
Fall 4th, Cow Festival
This is a festival to see who has the best cow. Bring your best cow with large milk to Green Ranch to come and win it all. You can sample some of the other milk here yourself, but it doesn't do anything. For winning, your cow now produces gold milk. If you take it back out into the pasture after the festival, after a few days some girl will drop by and you'll get another photo.
Fall 12th, Harvest Festival
Here's a festival you want to hope to win. Go to the square bright and early to start. The people will be sampling various dishes that were cooked by the townsfolk. When Elli appears, go talk to her. She'll give you a piece of her cake. If a coin's in the cake, you become the king for next year. If not, better luck next year. Choose a girl and dance the night away.
Fall 20th, Egg Festival
The egg festival is fairly simple, and next to impossible to lose. Go to the main town area to start the festival. When the mayor shows an egg, go and check the brown boxes that have appeared all over town until you find an egg that matches. Take it back to the mayor to reveal a new one to look for. The first time you win you'll get a power berry. Next year you'll pick up a turtle figurine to go on your TV. After that, its just a couple hundred pieces of lumber.
Fall 28th, Horse Race
Here you will be able to ride your horse to victory, or bet on other horses to win medals. If you win, you'll get a new picture in your photo album. But with medals, you can exchange them for various prizes.
Winter
Winter 10th, Thanksgiving
The nature of this day depends on how much the girls in the town like you. If they're just OK with you, then stop by their houses during the afternoon to get some cake from them. But if they really like you, then don't leave your farm all day. They'll be popping up with a piece of cake made just for you and a few kind words to say.
Winter 19th, Dog Race
Here you will be able to root on your puppy to victory, or bet on other dogs to win medals. If you win, you'll get a new picture in your photo album. But with medals, you can exchange them for various prizes.
- 500 medals - 500 materials - Just adds 500 pieces of wood to your wood shed.
- 1000 medals - Cute Clock - This changes the design of your Menu clock from a wood frame to a cow frame.
- 3000 medals - Awesome House - This rebuilds your doghouse so it looks cooler.
Winter 24th, Starry Night
"The Star Night Festival is the time to pray when the stars are at their most beautiful in the sky. Our whole family gets together and goes to church." - Anna
Tonight there will be an awesome starry sky out, so take your favorite girl out to see them and have a nice talk. Ann, Maria, and Elli will be at the church putting on a performance, after which you can ask one of them to leave with you. Karen will be down at the beach and Popuri will be up on Moon Mountain.
Winter 27th, Spirit Festival
"At the Spirit Festival, the Spirit chases away all the bad luck of the year and replaces it all with blessings. Since this brings us good luck, we all look forward to it." - Anna
Tonight, go to the square and listen to a performance from the king and some of his assistants. If you are the king you can ask three people from the town to accompany you in the performance. Make sure you pick the girl you like, as this is a great chance to get her to like you more.
Winter 30th, New Year's Eve
Now, this is it, the final festival of the year. After the sun sets, go into town and either go to the church or the bar to party the night away. Popuri, Elli, and Maria and a lot of the nice people go to the church. Ann, Karen, and all the cool people are hanging out at the bar. After you leave, your girl will walk out after you and ask you to go to the top of Moon mountain. Say yes and you get to watch the first sunrise of the new year together.
