Marriage

This can only be done after completing the main storyline and restoring Sonja to her body as well as Ymir(Ymir?), as well as purchasing certain house improvements, such as "Double Bed". If you wish to have a child too, you will need the Child-specific house improvements, which you can buy from James at the Marketplace during Thursday and Holidays.

After restoring Sonja to her body, you can now choose between playing as Aden or Sonja. Whoever you choose will allow you to improve the relationships of your marriageable partners. (e.g., playing as Aden allows you to increase the relationship cap of all female candidates from 6 to 10)

On the Friendship Event level 9 to 10, you can choose to jilt them, or ask them out. There seems to be no penalties for asking multiple females out, and once you jilt them, I do not think you can ever view the event again.

After you successfully become a couple with your significant other, the next time you speak with them, you have an option to ask them out on a date. The date seems to take place approximately 8 days after you ask them out at a few certain locations.

1) Church Plaza at 12pm
2) The Fountain behind the Three Sisters Inn at 12pm

After a successful date, Father Gerald will post a Three Golden Turnips level request on the board after a day or so. He will ask you to bring him 2 pieces of Platinum and 1 Diamond. Successfully giving them the items will reward you with a Ceremonial Ring and Happy Life 101(?) which allows you to craft more of them (for what I wonder??). The next time you go on a date, if you choose to give your significant other a Ceremonial Ring after a successful date (You can ruin it by choosing to insult your date, but why would you do that? :P), you will move directly onto a Wedding Ceremony. All friends level 3 or higher will come view the ceremony and congratulate you (Needs confirmation). After that, your significant other will now reside with you in your house. You will now be able to get exp for "Spouse's Affection", which will gain exp for every time she or he kisses you good bye when you try to leave the house. It seems if you constantly give him or her an item he or she likes/love, your chances improve.

• Note : You only have to do Gerald's Request if you choose to play as Aden. When you play as Sonja, your significant other will provide the ring and you will only have to accept it to get married.

Having a Child
Read the requirements at the very top first. After Twenty Days of completing all the requirements, your significant other will comment that they would like a child. The next day, your wife(if you play as Aden)/you(?)(I guess if you play as Sonja??) will comment on their pregnancy. Approximately 16 days after the pregnancy, your wife(if you play as Aden)/you(?)(I guess if you play as Sonja??) will inquire which gender you would like the baby to be.

• Note : When delegating choices to the significant other, choices MIGHT be Random. I haven't performed conclusive testing.

On the 41th day from meeting the requirements, the bearer of your child will remark that the baby is active and kicking. On the 46th day from meeting the requirements, the baby shall be born. You will now be able to choose to name him/her, and after that, a year shall pass and the current date shall be marked as the child's birthday.

• Note : Child Names MIGHT be Random, I haven't performed conclusive testing.
