| Still no flying to report! Although the weather is
improving.
There are currently 26 members of
the new forum. The membership is growing at about four members per day. The main
reason for setting this forum up was the volume of annoying e-mail messages I
was receiving from Yahoo pilots groups. It was becoming a daily chore to sift
through and delete all the mail I was getting. I have yet to find a good powered
paragliding forum, so I set up my own. Paragliders are, ofcourse, very
welcome.
This is a bit of free advertising for the boss!
Andre has recently
been working on a little project. His aim is to provide a trike unit that can be
easily fitted to a walkerjet unit and also be used with a
traction kite in stronger winds. The unit consists of about four pieces which
quickly assemble into a buggy.
The beauty of the
buggy is that it functions exceptionally well in both roles and yet it is very
light weight, strong and compact. It has large soft wheels; ideal for landing.
The unit assembles with a very low centre of gravity, making it very stable on
launch. The steerable front wheel makes trike launching even easier. It
disassambles to fit in an exceptionally small space. It's dual functionality
makes it the perfect introduvtion to trike flying, kite buggying or both.
