| I have recently emigrated to Canada. I find myself in, possibly, the flattest landscape known to man. OK, so maybe I am exaggerating a little bit, but it is flat. The chances of flying here are slim... actually zero at the moment. I left my paraglider in the UK for the moment until I get a job. The excess baggage costs were ridiculous. I have located a couple of promising locations over the border in New York, so I'll have to check them out. They are about a two and a half hour drive (according to a a route planner I used). Fingers crossed I will soon be airborne once more. |
