Three exciting new releases reviewed right here |
One of the perks of having your own paragliding website (with a high volume of traffic) is that you can sometimes wangle a few freebies! This month I have been hard at work looking for the latest media releases in the flying world and trying to get my hands on some free copies. Of course, nothing is really free, so poor me has to sit through a couple of flying DVDs and a new pocket aviation publication. No money has chnaged hands, so I promise my reviews will be unbiased and independent. |
Jocky Sanderson`s newest paragliding masterpiece is due to be released in March.

Performance flying is the first film of its kind to use high speed video cameras (125 frames/second) to capture the action and bring it to you in glorious slow motion. Performance flying is aimed at all pilots wanting to improve their skills, whether it be XC, Acro or SIV. I will be reviewing this film as soon as it is released. Until then you will just have to make do with the trailer.
Jocky Sanderson (just in case you didn`t already know!) is a test pilot and national coach, who is a world renowned figure on Paraglider safety and cross country flying. He offers his own SIV and XC clinics all around the world (Jason informs me they are excellent courses)

| As if that wasn`t enough I shall be reviewing Flying the Fish next week. It is a flying tale of three pilots` adventures across Namibia to the Fish River Canyon. These intrepid microlight pilot/filmmakers document the trials and tribulations on their epic journey.

I`ll also be reviewing Pocket Aviation by Panayiotis Kaniamos (who I guess might be Greek! :))
