It's nice to see a resurgence of Pokemon :) I'm not sure why they decided to do it now though.

It's also a shame that they decided to do it at a time where I wouldn't dare go stick my head in there to ask for food, much less a kid's meal so I can get a Pokemon Card.

Why not? I'd do it for the sake of making a fool of myself.

I had one of those gold cards, I believe it was a Togepi, I loved it.

Haha, I still have those. I think I have Mewtwo, Jigglypuff, and Togepi ones.
But yeah. I never eat at Burger King anymore and I stopped collecting cards too. It's nice anyhow to have a BK Pokemon toy surge again.

No, I just don't want to get their food when I can get the food from Wendy's or Bojangles or any of the other places that are literally right next door. Though I still want the cards... must... find way... to get promo cards...

I remember at McDonald's you could just ask for the toy by itself. It was like a buck or two, but you didn't have to deal with the food. Not sure if they do the same at Burger King.

But McDonald's had fun happy meals when I was a kid :( I've never tried any of the others, but they were amazing. You'd get the big box and all. It was always a treat.

Yeah, I have I collection of when they gave out all kinds of Pokemon stuff. Like those GB looking things that had a pokemon plastic picture and some type of game, or the best of all, when the gave pokemon figures in pokemon balls. Also, collecting the cards was awesome. They gave all kinds of cool stuff. :)
