I'm good as long as they don't try to make a live action movie out of it.

lol that movie failed so hard Oh gawd don't get me started on that thing. It was a birthday feature for me (came out around my birthday) and it was a horrible waste of money. Anyway, I read up on this a few months ago when my brother told me about it and I was so excited. I told all my Avatar friends and they were soooo psyched. :D A little sad because it's a mini-series, but originally it was only going to have half the episodes it does now. Now I've seen the teaser, and I'm excited all over again!!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D |

Yeah it was originally going to have like, twelve. Now it's 26. :DDDDDDDDDDD
But I am slightly disappointed they moved the release date back. It was supposed to be November of this year.... now it's like July of next year..... I'm sure they had their reasons though. |

So I just utilized a mixture of Youtube and Wikipedia to get myself some sneak peaks of what the voices are going to sound like. I must say, I'm highly impressed. especially with Tenzin.

I don't see how you don't like Tenzin.... or J.K. Simmons... because I think the voice fits very well considering his personality... but okay.... WOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
*changes set to Korra until my hype is over* |

Tenzin's voice was done okay, I guess. I'm not sure if they could've done anything spectacular with him, since he's just... well, Tenzin.
But Korra, though, I was completely disappointed with. I was expecting some quality voice acting, what, with all the action surrounding her character, but it just never came. Even with Aang, when he was bending and whatnot, you could hear his actor putting in the effort to have it sound realistic and as if he himself were bending. Her voice actress was extremely awkward and didn't seem too into what she was doing. The exclamations sounded empty and emotionless and she could've done a much better job. |

....or you could do what I did and go to Nick.com and click Korra's picture and see that the first two episodes are in full under videos.... or wait til Saturday like the poor souls who didn't know that it's released then.

Lol, Rebecca.
Initially I did try that... because some fool on a review sent me there.. and It wouldnt work!! I'm not sure if it works outside of the united states. I also tried the Korra Nation website, they wouldnt show up either... I just thought I'd share my links in case if anyone ran into the same problem. |

Korra Nation only had it up for a single weekend as a promo. I've also seen other sites that work. But maybe it just doesn't think that non-Americans like things that are cool? (Which is really insane)
