I like the way the trainers look. I doubt I'd be getting this game though. As for starters, they got it right with Charmander so there's no need for me to care about any of the others.

Why won't you be buying this one, Lindstrom?

HG is good enough to last me a long time, considering how long Red Version lasted me. There would have to be some pretty major changes for me to want to buy a new game.

I especially love the imaginative design for the Grass-type starter. Cause there was totally a shortage of awesome Grass-type gecko Pokemon, right?
(IMG:http://nintendoguy78.files.wordpress.com/2008/09/treecko1.jpg) Keep up the amazing creativity, Nintendo.[/sarcasm] On the bright side, at least the new trainers both look good this time. No stupid beret on the guy, no Mario crossplay on the girl. And it seems they're finally gonna stop pretending these characters are 10. Double-win. |

Lindstrom: Ahh, okay. Well, as long as you enjoy HG to the fullest.
XDXD You're right! That grass type reminds me A LOT about Treecko, SwedishElf. They even have that carefree personality going. Hmm, the difference is that this new grass type is a snake. But it might be a grass poison type, too. |

Random thought:
I hope the Black & White Pokemon get good Pokedex data. I've been going through Pokedex entries, and the last ones (the DP ones) are really LAME. They're hardly informative, short, and repetitive. Now, the Ruby and Sapphire Pokemon got some nice and lengthy entries. I hope Black & White has Pokedex entries like the one in Ruby & Sapphire. |

. . . You're MEAN! The poor sea otter! Fine, you be that way. I'LL pick the sweet, adorable little thing. Ya big bullies. D,=
I definitely like the water type, but the grass and fire types are beginning to vie for my attention. The grass looks better, but the fire is probably going to have some crazy fire-boar evolution. . . . And sweet little otter is just CUTE! I will definitely pick him. Hmph! |

Oh.
Well then I take it back. Sorry~ <3 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) Though I do find it regrettable they're making fun of it. Though they're technically making fun of all of them in one way or another. >_> |

I like all of them, but the pig will eat those other two alive. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasmile.gif)

Well, I do love Charmander, but I hate to see the pig get treated this way. I will find a pic of the pig looking awesome! Maybe...

I may have to start out with the grass starter just to name it Smugleaf. That is just such a fitting name!
