If you need corn, I believe you could buy some mixed seed bags and it might be in one of those. I think they're available at a level one store.

The mixed seed bags were removed in Animal Parade.



That would be the Tailor Shop. You have to ship 100,000 G worth of Animal Products to upgrade Sonata Tailoring.

Odd. Fogu lists mixed seeds as buyable, even suggests them for getting corn. Stupid site lied to me . . .

It said you can't have them in Spring unless the farm is at level two, so I thought that was the reason I didn't see them.

I've been hearing you don't necessarily have to ship 100,000G in just animal products to upgrade the Tailor Shop. I have heard (read) that some people had been saying they got it before then. I have not yet personally tested that though.

If I'm not mistaken Kozu, they still sell the multi seed bag. It is listed for sale in Marimba Farm in my game...

I have two very random, unrelated questions. Firstly, does anybody know where Gill is? I've rung the Blue Bell and I got the scene with him in the Watery Cave, but since then he's been completely MIA. I got Luna, Jin, and Selena, but Gill is nowhere to be found! And secondly, is there any method to the madness of cooking? Everytime I make something it either has no title or it's "Decent". I know Chase, when you get the scene with him, won't accept Decent-quality foods. (I accidentally triggered the scene, and I had to scramble around buying the cutting board, trying to find food, and give it back to him, only to have him puke and complain...jerk).

Gill is generally found in his father's house, or walking around the town. :) That's why I never see him. I never go to town. Too confusing and colourful. >_>

And I haven't tried cooking yet. Have you used decent ingrediants? That could be it.

I'm having the same problem with Gill, but I believe you cannot find him anywhere until after you ring the Green Bell.

After you ring the green bell you have an event with him then he goes back to town.

How do your pets learn new tricks? I've been doing the same lvl 1 trick for a while...

I got the Tailor upgrade when I sold 100,000g Grand Total, not any specific category :3

I think the pets learn new skills over time. I've been doing tricks with mine at least once a day and now they are at level 3 tricks. I'm not sure exactly how long it took though, I think it's 1-2 weeks per level, but I could be wrong.

The guide also says Luke marries Phoebe, SO. >> It's all products, trust me. I never shipped a lick of animal products (I always gave them away!) and still the Tailors upgraded right on schedule at the same time as the General Store.

Gill is just a big tease! You meet him in the Water Cave, but he doesn't actually move back until you meet him again in the Windmill after the Green Bell. :[ It makes me unhappy.

The ingredients you're using aren't worth enough. The sum of the shipping value of the ingredients you use has to meet a certain threshold before he will accept it.
I don't know what that threshold is, because I never bothered with his challenge and just bought an ice cream maker myself.

Make your animal do tricks every day. Eventually more tricks will pop up.
