I've been watching Amazon very carefully. So far the actual game hasn't been pushed back, but I've been watching the guide as well (I'm OCD) and it's been pushed back 3 times, From September 15 to October 16. It's not a very good sign.

Wow so I haven't been tracking this game too well. Last time I checked on this game there weren't even rumors of release dates. So I only know a little bit about the game.I think I'll start regularing this site again. Anyways sinse I don't really feel like looking through about 100 pages could somebody tell me if the characters have changed personality wise or have they stayed pretty much the same? Some examples would be nice.

The original characters from ToT are pretty much the same basic personality types, except they go into a little more detail. Like, Jin is uptight, but you find out a little bit more why. And Chase is a little deeper, too. The new characters are Wizard, Witch, Goddess and God. I'm not sure about Goddess and Witch because I've only played one file as a girl so far. Wizard is quiet and scholarly. He's just kind of... Well, he talks with a lot of pauses, and he never really seems to be concerned with anything. Although the closest I've seen him come to "concern" was the cut-scene when our daughter didn't come home.
God is kind of stuck up. He never really acts like he likes any of the gifts you give him, though he secretly does, and he's clueless about human emotions. Like when you marry him, he doesn't know what a kiss is and thinks it's silly. The only thing I know about the witch is that she's secretly lonely and very hard to please. Oh, and Perry is a priest now. You'd probably find out more in the main site or Fogu.

There's no real "confirmed" release date, but Amazon has a pre-order for the game set for October 20. There's no pre-order from Gamestop yet, so I wouldn't take Amazon's date as solid.

I can't wait, but I'm not thinking it'll come out on time. I wish, though.

Oh, "rubbing" has all kinds of weird connotations. I've decided I'm just not going to use that term around my friends if they ask, they'd never let it go. o_o

I was just wondering if there is decorations, like in Magical Melody. The only new thing I have seen is the pictures you can hang up. BTW, Is there a limit to furniture?

Ok all that's good to know. I don't want too much info though because I want the game to be kind of a surprise. I always spoil myself with games and by the time I play them there's not too much I don't know.

I'm really glad they're expanding on character personalities, cause for some reason I REALLY like this group of characters. I mean, I know HM reuses characters a lot, but I'm actually glad I get to play through an entire new game with this batch. And plus it feels more... emotional? affectionate? then any HM game in the past which is a nice bonus. :D

Yeah, they got a new character designer to work on ToT. Personally, I love her characters. I've said before, I love all the girls and it breaks my heart that I can't marry them all! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Even Maya, and I don't really like her that much. She's still great.
I hope someday we get another batch of characters designed by this same character designer. <Crosses fingers for a direct sequel>

There's something about them that makes them better.

BUT I don't like how the main characters (ourselves) look...

I didn't like the artwork of Hikari or Yuuki, but I like the screenshots of them that I've seen. So maybe there's hope yet for them, in my mind.

Although, I'm already pretty much certain I like these two more than their ToT counterparts.

My second post, I very very shy ._.
I liked the new charcaters. Yuuki has a face of troublemaker and curious (copy and paste of Ranch Story site, but I thinks the same) and Hikari, he had a face of "girl of the peace". I don't liked the characters of ToT, I hated the hair of the male and I hated the face of the female character.
Man, I need to know a thing: the Wizard rival its Witch? I think both make a good couple ~~

Yeah, something about Akari's face isn't right... but I have to admit I like her better than Hikari at least so far. Hikari's eyes are too far apart or something, and she looks "sweet" but kinda boring idk. I'll probably play as Akari & Yuuki, but if I have a third file I'll give Hikari a try. :)

Meh. I still like Akari more...:\ And neither guy hero is more appealing than the other to me...

And no, the Wizard, Witch, God, and Goddess don't have rivals. If they did, it would make sense for it to be the Wizard/Witch and God/Goddess, but they're not...

Yeah but it kinda makes sense that the God/Goddess aren't a couple because... well that would just make things WAY too compliccated. Like who would move in with who!? And what if they had little Godly children running around, it was just be strange!

LOL! They probably wouldn't live with each other; just like they don't move in with you. x[ They're so mean. Plus I heard the God is a bit of a jerk/socially awkward. I think he'd be at the bottom of my list of bachelors.
