It appears I've lost my game :( I'll look around for it a little more later, but I'm not very hopeful D:
Edit: Found it! PM me if you wanna battle. My Pokemon are mid-50s. 0303 2946 8714 |

Has anybody here done a Nuzlocke challenge? I'm thinking of trying one right now, maybe in FireRed. I'd much rather do it in HeartGold but I don't want to lose my save file ;.;

If I do it, I might do a little "Let's Play" thing on here. It's designed to foster a closer attachment for your Pokemon and make you use Pokemon you don't usually use. It's called the Nuzlocke challenge because of a Nuzleaf the creator of the series had he became really attached to, but then died. At one point, while still a Seedot, he gave it the face of John Locke from Lost (as seen above) and since then, in the comic series the creator made, he'll come back periodically to say philosophical things :\ |

I would. So basically, when you enter a new area, you have to capture the first encountered pokemon, and then that's it for that area?
Fun fact: In true badassness, Richter has never lost to a computer opponent (except in Battle Frontier). |

Elaborate version of that part in MGS3 that let you deal with all the people you killed up until that point in the game. Of course, it's no problem at all if you didn't kill anyone. Like a MAN.

QUOTE Or, take a Shuckle, maximize its physical defense, make it use Power Swap, give it the item metronome, a +6 attack boost, Skill Swap Huge Power/Pure Power on it, partner it with a Cherrim and sunny weather, and have it use the defense curl/rollout combo. On the last hit of Rollout (and 10th consecutive use of Rollout or more), have Cherrim use Helping Hand and direct Shuckle's wrath at a level 1 Ledyba with minimum and -6 defense and assume a Critical Hit... Of course, this is for thought experiment only. Done. Assuming that everything is in Shuckle's favor, damage after 10 rollouts would be 142,597,368 points of damage. The minimum HP for a level 1 Ledyba is 11, meaning that the Shuckle could KO the Ledyba 12,963,397.1 times over. The hit would be 99.9999923% overkill. Don't mess with Shuckle. Source. |

Wow. Starmen found a way to use the GTS for their own brand of Wifi Event pokemon. I just got myself a shiny Drifloon that knows Shadow Force by changing the DNS settings on the DS. Wonder if we could do that...

I'm guessing those things can't normally learn that? There are some instances where learning an otherwise unavailable move would certainly make a pokemon way way better.

No they can't. It's the signature move of that one guy from Platinum and works sorta like a ghost-type dig. Starts at level 5, so you can raise it how you like as well. Whenever I get around to Pogeyman again I'll probably raise him to see how he goes.

My old Heart and Silver games won't save anymore. Should I buy HeartGold or SoulSilver? If so, what are the differences beside the few different pokemon you can catch in the games? *Jumps out* |

Probably. Most Gold and Silver games won't work anymore due to their internal battery running dry. I've lost my legit Celebi because of this. I can't think of any differences between Heart and Soul aside from the regular catchable Pokemon based ones.

Of my old games, for some reason the only one that has crapped out is Wario Land, though I have a feeling my copy of Link's Awakening isn't far behind since it's been freezing up at certain parts (though the save files are still intact). I have no problem replacing the batteries though.
