Thank you guys. I actually did most of my birthday stuff yesterday since the entire world is shut down for Memorial Day, apparently. I saw a local production of Avenue Q with my family (and it was hilarious, though my mother thought the puppet sex was embarrassing) yesterday, and today I hung out with my best friend all day and went out to an Italian restaurant for dinner. There was actually a specific place I wanted to go, but they were closed because... you know... MEMORIAL DAY, so I had to pick out a backup. The food was decent, but the atmosphere wasn't really what I wanted. (The place that I wanted to go is nicer, and the owners know me and my family personally, so it's always a really cozy experience.)
All in all, though, it was a great birthday. 8D |
