I'm going to the movies tomorrow and watching it with friends. 8D I'd prefer to watch it in 2D, but it's been undecided between my friends. I don't have much concern for which we watch, though. I'm more concerned about what food I'm going to get while I'm there.

Usually I don't care about Stan Lee's characters, but this is definitely worth seeing. It is just THAT awesome!!!

I want to see this so bad! I love movies/games where characters from seperate stories are all brought into one. My only issue is I've heard that this movie is almost like a sequel to each heroes movie (almost like and Ironman 3, Thor 2, CA 2). I have yet to see any of the individual heroes movies. I feel like I need to watch those first so that I'm not confused.

I'm really jealous of you. A lot of kids from my school went to the premiere last night. Definately post and let us know what you thought of it!

Just got back.
Alright, Z, lemme help you out a bit. It'd be best to have a general knowledge of each character and Marvel as a whole in general, otherwise you'll be asking people beside you "What's that?" a lot. :| I loved it though. <3 People probably wondered what was wrong with me, as I cheered for Loki more than I did the Avengers. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) But really, it was enjoyable. <3 |

I found it impressive how, aside from Hawkeye, just about every member of the Avengers in the movie got a decent amount of focus. Sort've expected it to be practically a Stark/Rogers buddy-movie.

Indeed.
I also quite liked the build up on Coulsen. I feel like he was less of a snob that butted into people's business for the sake of the government and more of a man with a personality. |

Should be seeing it this Sunday. Sure to be awesome.
ZB: Well, as they were released, each movie themselves had these little tie-ins from the movie before them to lead up to The Avengers. Maybe you should rent/buy them and have a superhero smash party night marathon thing. |

Firstly: I missed most of the story since movies don't have subtitles and my two friends I sat in the middle of kept on talking one way or another. >B"[
Next time I go to the movies I'm sitting on the edge by myself. Otherwise, I enjoyed it. Had funny bits and characters and action were cool. |

I am excited to see this movie. I wasn't at first until I heard all the positive reviews and stuff. But I'm waiting until after finals to go. Stupid finals. -_-

Thanks guys, I do have a basic knowledge of all the heroes, but I'll definately have to check out all their individual movies before I see this one. I got on FaceBook though and all I see is status aftre status talking about how amazing Avengers was.

I haven't watched any of their individual movies (T__T), and I didn't even catch most of the story and I still thought got most of what was going on (What I didn't I blame my friends for (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ). I think you'd be fine without.

ZB: Tell me about it. Any topics that involve movies anywhere I go, I say 'the Avengers' before even checking it out. It's everywhere!
You don't necessarily neeed to, I'm sure. But there are tie-ins (such as the cube). You'll like each movie, though, so I wouldn't pass them up either way. I enjoyed 'em. Might as well be before. |

I do know some theatres were doing a marathon deal where they were playing all of the original movies up to the Avengers. Not sure if they are still doing that, though.
