I forget if someone else wanted to do this. Too late now! Unless they want to start their own topic for the group play or something. I don't know.
So yeah. Summer's upon us, so it's that time again. Summer's usually a slow time for video game releases, so what better way to get around that than by playing some old classics? Vote on your favorite Harvest Moon/Rune Factory title and in a few days that'll be the chosen title for everyone to have maximum togetherness in their funtimes. Alternatively, you can just play whatever the heck you want and completely disregard the majority. The only really important thing is to talk about your play experiences, what characters you interacted with, events you happened upon, and so on. Have fun with it! I'm thinking of trying out Save the Homeland myself. I got it a while back for two bucks but I haven't gotten around to playing it. |

Well, I've been meaning to start over on Hero of Leaf Valley, so that sounds like a good idea to me. As much as I love 64 and GBC 2 & 3, we played the former last year and not enough people own/have access to the latter two.

I completely forgot about the group plays haha. Kind of feeling the orignal RF myself. Never actually finished it and a group play would probably get me pumped to, but I'm down to do whatver else too. Just hopefully I have the game to play (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

I want to attempt to help out the wiki some, so I might pick up Magical Melody.

How does this work? I'm already doing this for FoMT for the Wiki, does that count?

Yeah, you can play what you want, but there's generally a majority vote for one specific game. Just talk about whatever you're doing in the game or about it in general. 8D

It only lets me list 20 items. =\
The epic continues. (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring18.jpg) Why don't other games have nifty little profile dealies like this? (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring19.jpg) (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring20.jpg) Seems I stopped before a bunch of events happened. Like... a visitor? (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring21.jpg) She proceeds to ask me about what it's like in Flowerbud... City? So Sugar Valley exists in an alternate continuity where the GBC character failed? Or something? Either way, most of what she focuses on is about the Goddess Festival. Namely the pretty pretty dresses. (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring22.jpg) The barbaric rituals I describe deeply horrify her. She informs me she wants to make a new dress for the girls to wear. Which I think is a good idea because the one they have kinda sucks. (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring23.jpg) Five minutes later, she's stumped. Welp. So much for that. (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring24.jpg) Louis gets all the birds. (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring25.jpg) HEY LOUIS! (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring26.jpg) Birds love flutes. (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring27.jpg) (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring28.jpg) Suddenly, a different perspective is thrust forth as Gwen shows up to take Louis off somewhere. (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring29.jpg) Louis ditches an old, crappy flute on me because couldn't sell it. As is tradition in HM games when it comes to tools. (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring30.jpg) I have no idea what this does except let me jam. (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring31.jpg) (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring32.jpg) Later, Katie comes to meet me to tell me she's helping Gina out. She also learns that I am mentally unstable, but still believes I'm pretty great at dress design. (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring33.jpg) Yeah, that's about right. Though, to really help I'll need to take further advantage of my psychosis... (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring35.jpg) I head off to the Goddess to ask her for any more tips. (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring36.jpg) Weave moonlight? I'm not a damn wizard. (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring38.jpg) She says she'll just do it herself because I suck so much. Unfortunately, I need non-magical thread to do so. Just take a quick gander at my wallet and then the price of the silk. (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring37.jpg) (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring39.jpg) The miracle of life. LATER THAT DAY (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring40.jpg) Yeah. Looked like frantically trying to spot a UFO or something. (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring41.jpg) Oh. That makes sense. You're the gruff type, so you have to have some random sissy thing you do. (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring42.jpg) Holy crap stalker. Stalker sez, let's find a really freaking RARE butterfly with the aid of a blue flower. I know just the person to ask. (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring43.jpg) Sup. (IMG:http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g281/worthlessnewbie/HMFGP/Spring44.jpg) She proceeds to (unknowingly) prove to me that she dyes her hair. Not only does she believe blue flowers only grow high on mountains (idiot), but she needs to go find an expert for me. Great. Thanks for helping Not-Popuri. |

I never realized how tiny the main character in SH was, and like everyone in the game is, but the bio they give him is pretty awesome

There's Save the Homeland and Hero of Leaf Valley. The latter's for the PSP, if that's what you have confused.

Hrmm...
Playing Magical Melody. I'm on Spring 26th? I've got 18 notes. Ray is on 3 hearts, Joe is on 3 hearts, Kurt is on 2 and Ellen is on 1. I've got a barn, and two baby cows. I live on the River Side, and I also own the Town property too. I don't know how much money I have edit: I have 5475g. .__. I guess I could buy some sheep. |

Now I'm on Summer 14, with 28 notes. 4209g. Got 2 cows (Bessie and Nellie), one calf (Cowda) and one adult sheep (Woolbur), and they all have 1 heart.
Ray has 5 hearts, Joe has 5 hearts, Kurt has 4 hearts, Ellen has 3 hearts, Blue has 2 hearts, Bob has 1 heart, and On my River Side home property I have some grass and my barn, and on the town one I've got an unreasonable amount of tomatoes and corn growing. My dog Space Filler has one heart (I never feed them) and pig Mushroom Pig has none. Rabbit has one heart since I always throw weeds at it when it's around. And Blue just came to give me his two heart gift after forever and I'm really disappointed. Only just a good milk. Atleast it was better than Joe's cheap 15g Dace. :/ |
