Known as Twin Villages in Japan, I believe. It's for Nintendo DS and compatible on 3DS. |

I know that DS games will work for the 3DS so that is what they probably meant. I mean wouldn't it be hard to make a normal DS game into a 3D one?
Either way I'm excited they have plans for more info. Too bad it's months before E3. |

Yeah I'll be disapointed if its just "it runs on the 3DS" however the way they worded it, I assume they mean there will be a 3DS version. In which case I can see the 3DS been the supiror version- with the DS version been for those without the console, as well as some sort of interacitivity between the two. Possibly one which makes it worth connecting both to eachother.

It'd be kinda cool if it was like the GBC games that were GBA enhanced. Though even Pokemon didn't do that, so probably not.

^ Kinda like the Zelda Oracle games where you get access to the Advanced Shop? Or just have it work with 3D?

I bet they just mean it will work on the 3DS.
I like the idea of there being two villages and you picking one. And I like the name of the game cuz it reminds me of one of my favorite books. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) |

Actually, on Natsume's site I read the PDF and it was specifically said "whichever version you get..." so I imagine it's two completely separate releases.

Well that's cool. If there is some kind of real improvement between the two I might have to get the 3DS sooner than I thought.
But if 3D is the only real difference I'm not going to spend the extra money. 3DS games are more expensive then normal DS ones >.<. |

From my understanding each has a different town- which can be connected in a style simular to AWL/FOMT?

Wait, what?! They cannot possibly be splitting the game in two. There are two towns in the one game. If they're splitting it up and making you buy both, I will personally take to writing a long, heated letter to both Marvelous and Natsume. This subject sorely needs further clarification before I do so, though.
Regardless, I own this game in Japanese already. Much like with Welcome to the Wind Bazaar, I will not be purchasing an English version as my Japanese one works just fine. I doubt the Wi-Fi connection will work with different region versions, though, which is unfortunate. If I actually want to take part in that, I'll probably have to look Rumiko up. |

The game is still called Two Towns. That wouldn't really work if there was only one town and another town in a different game. Also that would mean very few characters, plus how would the plot work? You couldn't do anything unless you have a DS, a 3DS, and two different games. I doubt that would go over well.
So I think both the DS and 3DS version will have the same two towns and same complete set of characters. |

I'm fairly certain Natsume is just upgrading the DS version for 3DS.

Yay ^-^. I am going to pre-order right away so they don't run out. But it will probably be awhile before pre-ordering is even an option.
I just wish Natsume would do pre-order bonuses for their other games :/. |

I hope this game this game won't require the L and R buttons, since my DS lite's are broken...
I hope to get this one when it's out. |
