I know we used to have a 3DS topic, but I have no idea what happened to it.
So, here's the new one! Tomorrow we find out a bunch of good stuff about this new handheld system. Such as the American and European price, the exact release date, all the launch titles, what will be in the box (exciting!) and other stuff. You can look up things for yourself here, starting tomorrow: http://www.nintendolife.com/ I'll be posting the info when I read it. |

That information'll pretty much decide on how long I wait on the thing.

Well, whatever the English release date of Kingdom Hearts 3D is will most likely be the day I man up, waste a good chunk of my savings and buy one.
Personally, I'd like to wait for the 3DSlite myself, but the release date of KH3D may not let me. |

I'm fine with getting a basic system since I stuck out with my original DS the whole life cycle and never saw an issue until DSi got it's own software. I'm just thinking primarily if any software is bundled initially.

Yeah, I heard. Have you seen the trailer for it yet, Noviwan? What little bit of gameplay they've shown looks awesome. *A*

Did you really expect any less? I mean, it's new tech being released while current stuff is still selling strong. My main thing is that I didn't see any must haves or bundle notices about the launch so I'll probably hold off until the first good bundle or the first game that just looks amaz-awesome.

Yeah, and it's coming out March 27th in the US and March 25th in Europe. I like some of the launch titles, though. Paper Mario and Kid Icarus are the two that look best. I haven't read up on much more, though...
But the 3DS comes preloaded with a couple of titles. I kinda want to wait until the 3DSLite though. I hated how I bought three different DS. |

*Not bothered to search for Australian release*
Doesn't really matter. It will cost a lot of money and I'm probably going to get it much later this time instead of straight away. I still love my original DS. <3 Though I wish my brother would get it.... He wants another Wii. We already have two. X.X; I'm looking forward to Kid Icarus and Paper Mario too. <3 |

It shouldn't be out much later than March for Australia, I'd think.
Yeah, I learned my lesson from the DS. I got the original DS and then all of a sudden the DS Lite came out. I got that and then the DSi comes out. I get that and the DSiXL (but I didn't get that) comes out and the 3DS is annoucned. So, I'll wait for the Lite, cheaper and smoother version... |

Man that price tag is kinda hefty, but I'm liking alot of those titles that are going to come with it.... I almost don't even want to see prices on the games (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif)
One thing that is tempting me to get it early is that it looks like it can work with my new type of wifi unlike my old DS, and if I could play DS games online on the 3DS then I could do the Black and White tournament coming up. Then again maybe I should wait for a newer model to be released, but again those launch titles are killing me with Kid Icarus, Paper Mario, and the Star Fox and OoT remakes... Guess it all comes down to how much cash I have in my pocket by then. I have about 70 to 100 dollars saved now, so I could just work some to earn more money for it. I dunno I'm kind of undecided on it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) |

As of right now there are only 3 Nintendo launch titles which kind of annoys me compared to the giant list of 3rd party games.

Yikes, that's a lot of money. :| But does it also say that there's only 3 games coming out on launch date? :\ I'm not really interested in the three it says. I think I might wait a while. Then again, coming out in March. My birthday's in May; hopefully by then more games will have come out. Still, that's quite a bit of money.

My birthday is in March, and this was going to be my birthday present. My mom doesn't seem too excited because of the price, so I think I may hold off and just buy it later on when an "awesome" game that catches my eye comes out.

Well I am not going to get it until the price goes down. I refuse to pay more than 200$ for a hand held (IMG:style_emoticons/default/weirdsmile.gif) . But I'll probably have to wait awhile before that happens. I definitely would not want a 3DS lite (if they make one). I couldn't stand my brother's normal DS lite. I like my big ol' original DS. So I will for sure get an original 3DS.
I can't wait for Ocarina of Time 3D and all the other Nintendo 64 remakes. I really hope they do more of those. And course I want to see Harvest Moon 3D ;). Oh and a Rune Factory 3D would be great too. I am so not ready to see how much the games costs (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . Probably 40 bucks each or more. |

I'm hoping the prices of each game don't go any higher than $40. I don't want to be paying the same price or more that I would spend on a Wii game.
