So, let's not let anybody be surprised by this next statement I'm about to make.

I've never had a boyfriend before, and I've never needed or wanted one. I've spent almost my entire life leaving love to fantasies in the stories I create, meaning I've never had a crush on anyone before.

Until now.

For the first time in 16 years (that's how old I am) I've finally gotten a crush on a guy that exists (8 years old, Peter Pan, what'll ya do?)

I'm already good friends with him, and we're in band together. We share many interests, and we hung out together (mostly by ourselves) for about 4 days of the 5 day trip. (1st day: not at all, already picked a group. 2nd day: half with him alone, half with guys who wanted to get on rides and knew where they were. 3rd day: Also, half and half, but that's because I owed some guy money so I bought him something that cost what I owed him while the other guy rode things. 4th day: most of the day. the group of 4 split in 2, and then we met up again at a restaurant by accident *or fate if you desire*. 5th day: entirely while he was there, but he had to leave early.)

Would anyone like to offer suggestions? I wanted to ask him out, but it felt awkward to do so when we were already traveling alone together for most of the week.

Well congrats on the crush, and good to hear that you enjoyed Disney.

I'm probably not the best at love advice I guess you could say, but I'd let it just play out. Throw a hint here and there that you like him and would like to hang out and see what he does. I wouldn't suggest flat out coming onto the guy by asking him out, has happend to me before and I got pressed in sort of an awkward situation, but if he likes you then you should notice. Don't be in a major rush either since these things take time, but I think you get the main idea here.

My thoughts anyways, wouldn't say that I'm in any way shape or form qualified to get it, but I thought I'd atleast try to help.

I think I prefer your advice to the girls that shared the hotel room with me. They were all "ASK HIM OUT! ASK HIM OUT!" in chanting format. That kind of freaked me out, so I ended up not asking him out at all. We didn't even talk much except to just ask each other either where we wanted to eat or which ride to go on. There never was much to talk about anyway. We were mostly too busy trying to find out where we were, anyway.

Your friends sound scary. Xq

To be honest, I can't really offer you much advice either than let it take course. Seeing as you told your friends though, I expect that secret will leak and it will all work out. Xq

I hope it doesn't leak. That would be freaky. I don't know how he'd react to it! *freakout*

*sob* my little Rebecca is growing up so fast. Someday she'll be telling us she's engaged and pregnant (hopefully a long time from now).
*yeah, I know a month late, but at least I can tease her about it*

Dude, since when did you become either my big brother or my mother?

Also, I was lucky this past year to have two classes with him. I can't say the same for this year.

Just pray that nobody mentions this at your wedding.
