I found this info on a site, I'm posting it just in case someone hasn't read it yet.

Players can choose between a male and female character, named Lest and Frey respectively. Both characters start with amnesia and the ability to communicate with dragons, and they live as a prince or princess for the time being. Instead of jumping straight from being friends to being a wedded couple, you can date someone (or more than one someone) for a time period. Producer Yoshifumi Hashimoto claimed that there would be some heartwarming moments, as well as some that are “quite embarrassing.”

You can place crops anywhere rather than being limited by a grid. You can also recruit monsters while dungeon crawling and raise them on your farm. In addition to your usual crop tending, you can also accrue prince/princess points and use them to create buildings (blacksmith, ornament building, or pharmacy), with the goal being to attract tourists. Your character gets a ranking based on how many people come.

Rune Factory 4 is at 50% completion and expected to be released in Japan at some time this year.

I really should get a 3DS... URGH. As usual, the character designs look aaaamazing! The male protagonist is uh... really girly. BUT WHO CARES EFFEMINATE MEN FOR THE WIN. *V* The female protagonist is a tad too girly for me as well, but meh. She's adorbs! And the blue-haired bachelor dude... *__________* URGH JUST URGH. He's glorious. And he's voiced by Daisuke Namikawa! Wooot. I hope he uses the Ulquiorra voice... HARHARHARHAR. *V*

For the unitiated, Daisuke Namikawa is a famous Japanese Voice actor. He's done the voices for Rock (Black Lagoon), Ulquiorra Schiffer (Bleach. Yes I copied and pasted his name), both North and South Italy (Hetalia: Axis Powers), Shota Kazehaya (Kimi ni Todoke. Chances are that I'm the only one who knows this series), Thobari Kumohira Durandal (Nabari no Oh), Lucario (Pokemon Movie & Super Smash Brothers Brawl), Chotaro Ohtori (Prince of Tennis. Yay~), Fay D Flourite (Tsubasa Resevoir Chronicles), Seiji Souta/ Player Character (Persona 4), and a few more.

He also does the Japanese dubs voices of these characters: Danny Fenton/Danny Phantom (Danny Phantom), Hannibal Lector (Hannibal Rising.... wait what? srsly? Cute adorable Chotaro is Hannibal Lector? Wow), Romeo (Romeo + Juliet. The Baz Luhrmann one with Leonardo DiCaprio), Anakin Skywalker (Star Wars), John Conner (Terminator 2 & 3), Frodo Baggins (Lord of The Rings, all of them and the video game), Prince (Prince of Persia games), and quite a few more.

It was a pretty stereotypical shoujo... so ew. X'D But yeah... Arg! If he uses the Kazehaya voice for the blue-haired dude... bleh. It's a little too genki and generic for my taste. Ulquiorra voice ftw. D:

Oh and, does anyone know of any other seiyuu that are gonna be voicing characters in RF4? Oh god I'm totally crossing my fingers for my favourite seiyuu harharhar *___*

Other voice actors confirmed for the game include Ayana Taketatsu, Aoi Yuuki, Hitomi Nabatame, Tomokazu Sugita, Daisuke Namikawa, and Kosuke Toriumi.

As to who they voice, no idea yet. :[

@Co'coa Kimi ni Todoke is somewhat stereotypical, but it has it's good points. Plus it has cultural notes in the back, which I like to read once in a while. Haven't seen the anime yet.

I hope he uses a combination of his North Italy/Chotaro and his South Italy voice! Something sort of gentle, but not to high pitched.

I also want to know some of the other voice actors.

The graphics in this look really neat, huh? The 3D models in the game don't have paper thin arms. X3 And the backgrounds, as usual in my opinion, look gorgeous. *Is in love* I wonder how this prince/princess things going to work out.

Awesome news. really. Here's hoping that Neverland will continue steadily improving the quality and mechanics. The system's power and storage capacity should allow for lots of dialogue, so I hope the characters will be even more interactive (ESPECIALLY the protagonist's children). Family life in general should be richer than greeting your wife in the morning, munching away breakfast and leaving. ;)
Also, I hope for increased bestiary, bigger dungeons and more things to explore.
And I really gotta try and save up for a 3DS by the release time. Good thing I bought DS Lite after all - it will be still useful as an enhanced Gameboy Avance then (or even as good ol' NDS, if I don't get used to playing DS games on different-sized screens of the new platform, lol (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ).
The actors... Since becoming somewhat of a madokafag, I was delighted to have two of Madoka Magica main cast (Eri Kitamura and Emiri Katou) voice the roles in RF3, and now Aoi Yuuki and Chiwa Saitou appear in the new game, too! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif) Having "Fay D. Flourite", "Kyon" and "Azusa Nakano" involved is also good news. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasmile.gif) Japanese sound option in the US release would really come in handy.
