New Rune Factory 4 3DS Options

Been awhile since anyone has posted here buuut from the looks of it the RF4 official site seems to have all the marriage candidates released now. It is a very nice group. There are still villagers who aren't on the site (I know because there were characters in the animated opening clip that aren't on there) so far though they all seem great too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasmile.gif) .

I like the new weapon they added. They have videos on the site that show off weapon use and you can now equip gloves so that you can use your fits to fight like in RF3 but you don't have to turn into a wooly this time (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) .

Barrett comes from Alvarna, the town in Rune Factory 2, and looks a heck of a lot cooler than he did in that game. The concept art on the right is his new look in Rune Factory 4. He’ll reinforce your equipment in exchange for raw materials.

Raven doesn’t look all that different from her Rune Factory 3 days. Continuing her line of work, she’ll sell you materials like including ore, which can be used to synthesize items. Raven’s still a little reserved, but has a more lively side hidden within.

Alright its out but I haven't gotten much of chance to really play it. First thoughts is "wow the opening stayed in japanese this time" also the game is E+10 and right off the bat there's already people calling each other dumba$$ and a wrongly labeled "ganster" soldier LOL. Man I really wanna keep going but alas too much homework from classes. >_<

I can't for the life of me figure out how to initiate the proposal event for Forte. ;~;

THIS GAME HAS CONSUMED ME AAAUGH.

Spoiler:
I just beat freaking Dylas and he was such a total jerk. Seriously tried beating him for at least 2 hours. And when I finally did he came back and killed me. Finally beat him at close to level 20.

Now I'm at obsidian mansion. What did you guys put your difficulty at? I'm playing in hard mode for no apparent reason but to have an excuse to level up.


I think one of the main factors of this game in how fast people are beating it is the "easy" obtainable weapons. I can find a good axe from just all those chests that randomly appear often than having to eat a lot of recipe bread and leveling up. Still my defense is terrible. Also I don't think this game has dungeon farming? From what I've seen so far. And so there is no goal of having to till 100 squares or plant etc. vegetable to continue. Though at least its not like Rune Factory 1 were you had to wait for winter to enter a lousy dungeon.

I'm playing on Normal mode, everything has been pretty easy so far... other than the 2nd arcs last boss... he was a jerkface.
(Only boss to have actually taken me more than 1 attempt to defeat.)

I haven't really found any good gear from chests or anything, I've had to craft pretty much everything. The only good thing I found was my Lamellar Vest armor.

I am level 117 and have 42 hours played, the last about 10 hours has pretty much been my trying to figure out how to marry Forte...

So I switched to easy mode as I started to feel ridiculous playing a level 18 dungeon and still getting clobbered at level 38 so I'm now trying to "beat" the game as fast as I can as I don't have a lot of spare time as I used to thanks to classes. -_-
