You know what? I'll bite. What the helk.
Popuri - Bellossom Jumpluff Roserade Sawsbuck Snover Shiftry Ann (HM64) - Lopunny Ampharos Rapidash Miltank Slowking Farfetch'd Ann (SNES) - Klinklang Machamp Golem Camerupt Skarmory Poliwrath Popuri's team was chosen for secondary type diversity while all being grass pokemon, since in HM64 she's obsessed with plants. She prefers flowers, so I thought about making her team entirely of flowery pokemon, which would've included Sunflora, Cherrim, and Lilligant, but Popuri herself is more diversified than that, liking plants of all varieties (except for weeds, because they kill other plants), so I mixed it up a bit and gave her a more interesting variety. Ann, on the other hand, loves animals so I based hers on things she likes in particular (like wool and horses - hence Ampharos and Rapidash) or events in game (like the Winter Hare event - hence Lopunny) and then rounded it off with some type variation that remained within the "organic animal" realm of things, while avoiding fish, since you never see her by the beach or near a body of water save the Goddess Spring. I would've given her a Tauros too, but I figured that since I'd already given her a Miltank that it was kind of superfluous. As for the original Ann, I figured that her team would probably be focused on helping her with her inventions, so pokemon that can lift heavy things, crush things, melt down metal for tools, fly heavy-duty stuff around, or cool things off with strong bursts of water would suit her best. I'd also imagine that she'd have a fondness for the Steel type and pokemon that seem mechanical. Y'all are free to disagree with my choices, of course. :D |

Smeargle Rapidash/Zebstrika Golduck/Blaziken Miltank/Tauros/Bouffalant Mareep/Whimsicott Sunkern Elli (64): Combee Miltank Togepi Seaking Maria (64): Butterfree Kricketune Volbeat Leafeon Jack just got his dog, a buncha farm animals, and a seed. Elli got honey, milk, eggs, for baking and fish for an event or two. Maria's all are from events, except Leafeon who I decided had the most cabbage-like leaves of any grass types I could think of. Yep. |

I don't actually. I think Muffy would have pokemon that were "cute" or something she could otherwise baby. (Of course, we're talking AWL Muffy as I am unfamiliar with any other version of her.)
This is a more a list I would attribute to her: Vulpix/Flareon Marill Cherubi Pachirisu Skitty/Lillipup Smoochum Oh and Darth, Butterfree was the first pokemon to come to mind when I thought of Maria. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Oh, and Leavanny and it's pre-evolutions have very cabbage-like leaves... |
