Chicken most people will question your lack of knowledge because you're a Yankee fan! You have the most obnoxious fans in pro sports

All of my teams have won a championship in my lifetime except the Bruins but we have good (relatively) young players with a future superstar in Seguin and a high first round pick this year. Chelsea FC haven't won the champions league though which is a shame but I still believe it'll happen

I wish one of mine could do so for me! Although I think the wait will make the Championship that much sweeter.

The one thing I want to see in my lifetime is to see the Dallas Stars lift that cup one more time.
They played as one of the best in the NHL this year until that past couple of games which have been a pain to watch inculuding a 6-3 loss agiast the Bruins last night..we were done 4-0 and made it 4-3 which was so intense but we could hold on to it.
On to football,
the Packers have no chance agians the running/passing plays agianst the steelers!
Steelers are going to win the super bowl 27-19..that my prediction.

Steelers rely on their defense, sorry. Their offense isn't too bad, but not going to get very far on the Packers. If they do win it will be because of the defense creating opportunities for the offense, or shutting down the Pack offense. Which is unlikely, Rodgers is absolutely shredding defense after defense.

Which they excel at. Ya know what they say. Defense wins championships (in in this case the Super Bowl)

Btw, do you guys think I should break out the robot or learn the moon walk for my victory dance? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

Which it does, but when the defense does give your offense needs to provide some points. When the Packers win, I think you should feel how I felt two weeks ago!

Moon walk! I'll have to stick with the robot, though. I'd fall flat on my rear if I tried the moonwalk. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

Steelers have a good offense too. they're not as good as some other teams', and they're overshadowed by their defense, but their offense provides when they need to.

Your team not make it, huh? Which one is that? Ravens? Bears?

@ Chicken:

okay then, I'll try to get that practiced a bit before Sunday (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif)

Those Jets. HE'S TAKING IT OUT ON ME! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalacry.gif)

Just kidding, but we have been going back and forth over how I know the Steelers are going to win, and how he's under the delusion that Green Bay will win. :)

Jets eh? odd. Not criticizing ya dude, but If I were you I'd want the Steelers to win. That way you could say "yeah, we lost, but at least we lost to the champs"

Sorry 'bout the Jets though. At least you aren't a Bengals fan. They're... not so good (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . Jets made it to the playoffs. Bengals didn't really have a chance

I don't like the logic behind that. I don't like the Steelers, simply. I've always liked the Packers though.

I like the way ben plays QB alot..he doesnt play like most QB so its fun watching him...when you think e goign down he finds a way to break lse and get a open man.
I love the Steelers Offense...if the didnt have offense they wouldnt be in the Super bowl and since they have the offense of a champion and there defense is better then the Packers by a whole lot.
Steelers are going to win this game and I cant wait for it.
LETS GO STEELERS!

K, first things first.

AWW COME ON MAN!

alright, now that that is out of the way,

Congrats to the Packers. They played a great game, no denying that.

I am really disappointed in the way the Steelers played. I expected them to play... well, like the Steelers. Turnovers were what cost them the win. And those turnovers were easily avoidable mistakes, at least for the Steelers normally. Saying that, at the end it came soooo close that if they had at least one less turnover they would have had a very good chance of winning. Not that I'm making excuses, just trying to point out that those weren't the Steelers I'm used to seeing play. They really choked tonight.

Though after all the disappointment, I can still say that at least they're still the AFC champs, they still have their 6 Lombardi, and they're still the most successful team overall.

And as for you Toaster, I guess I'd better watch out huh? The Steelers only have a five Championship lead over the Jets, they could come back from behind at any moment. Perhaps their loss to the Steelers was just a front to lull them into a false sense of security. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

Basically you're doing the equivalent of a minimum wage teenager laughing at a successful businessman who had a pay reduction. Sure the businessman wasn't all that lucky, but he's still making more than the teenager.

I'm fine with having a moderately successful franchise and honest players. And you can talk Superbowls all you want, but it's anyone's game regardless of rings.

Don't lie, you wish the Jets were as successful as the Steelers. It's nothing to be ashamed of man, most teams do.

Anyway, anyone have any favorite Super Bowl moments. I thought it was pretty cool when Slash came out in the half-time show.

I do, but I'm saying that the rings wouldn't be relevant to me now. Look at 49ers. They have 5 rings, but they haven't seen a playoff game in 9 years.

Slash tried to save the halftime, but it didn't work. My favourite part was definitely when Rodgers hit Jennings over the middle on 3rd and 10 to set up the 6 point lead.

That game was so intense an I give the Steeles so much credit for making the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history.
Im dissapointed they lost though.
Next year I hope my Cowboys can atleast make it to the playoffs.
