I am happy to hear that you are thoroughly been sucked in by this wonderful title! and as for the length of the game I would give it about 1 50 hour play through on your fistr go I beat It in 46 hours on my first run through then 37 with second cycle. but I do not grind and play the game in way that leave me under leveled. And if you do have FES the first part of the game is longer than the second part I think its like The answer is shorter than the whatever the first part is called. All I am gonna say is that was money well spent sir. And if you like 3 FES you will like 4 trust me. and if your inclined to try one of their even darker games look for a copy of Shin Megami Tensei Noctourne. |

Heeeey, I just had a thought (no, it didn't hurt). What if someone replaced their fake guns with real ones. *is deep in thought*
Eugh... jeeze-Luise. That'd be a plot twist ana half. Liking the story a lot so far. I've only ever gotten really angry at the game once so far, and that was just cause bad luck. Thanks, game, for not giving me an access point in the dungeon for like 8 floors. That was really fair how even though I intended to leave I couldn't, therefore causing me to die from stupid enemies who won't leave me alone. I'll forgive it though since I like the game so much. Is it me, or is the summer part of the game Spoiler: not as exciting? Oh well, nearly done with it anyway. After the island trip that is Can't wait to play some more. No doubt fun will ensue. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif) Also, is there a lot more Anime style cutscenes coming my way? cuz those rock. And I'd kinda like to see more relationship buildin' between the main character and Yukari (hope I got the name right. I have a hard time remembering names in english, so japanese names are tough for me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) ) |

Thats awesome and yeah the summer island part is kind of meh. You know what I find funny? Everyone seems to like Yukari<-- you got it right except for me... I couldn't stand her and her
Spoiler: Mom issues I am a fan of Mitsuru and the Spoiler: The social links are fun though really was great. Also there aren't that any anime cutscenes in the game as a whole but they are all very good and I liked that they did that sparingly. because when it happens its perfect well in telling the story!Robot Aegis! Yeah my mom got scared when she saw me play it the first time and she was all like , "Oh my goodness she's gonna shoot herself What the helk are you playing!? WHAT IS THIS?! turn it off now!" the I told her the guns weren't real lol |

Ah man, that's just too funny. I think my mom would say the same thing if I let her into my room while I was playin it.
"There's a subliminal suicidal message!" lol (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Spoiler: I'm suprised how good the puppy is. He's like one of the strongest team members for me. You wouldn't mess with that dog in real life. Makes a pit-bull look pitiful. Japans schools are a lot different than mine was. There was no archery club, no classes 'bout magic, no uniform, and definitely no dark hour. ...I wish my time in high school was like these characters'. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) |

I think I'm getting to the end of the game now.
Spoiler: W T F with Shinjiro dieing? First of all Shinjiro was awesome so why did he have to die? Second I was planning on using him on my team a lot, but I can't now! Oh well. At least it makes for a better story... Also, it may just have been me, but wasn't it obvious that the chairman guy would turn out to be evil? I saw that coming as soon as he was introduced. No, really. I was like "He's probably gonna turn out to be a bad guy, isn't he?". Maybe I'm just good at sniffing out plot twists Having lots 'o' fun still. Grinding isn't as bad as it used to be 'cause I'm not letting myself get under-leveled anymore. That seemed to be a problem for me at the beginning. Every once in a while I'll run into a boss that will give me trouble, but I just re-evaluate my strategy 'til I find one that works. This is a long freakin game (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) |

nah, I was talkin 'bout
Spoiler: Ikutski....or somethin. The guy with glasses and long hair that makes bad puns. I just passed the part where he died. That's pretty much my strategy. 'Cept I don't have many fusion skills for some reason. I get the suspicion that it's because I'm a "noob". |

....I'm actually mad at myself because I WAS playing Persona 4 non-stop.. until the bath house level. I CANNOT BEAT THAT LEVEL. I don't know WHY, but I can't. I never even made it to the boss, just that pre-boss, that big trumpet thing that basically just stomps or something then you're screwed. So I just sort of gave up and I haven't played, really. I tried to do a let's play once, but got stuck AGAIN so I deleted everything I uploaded and again, didn't play anymore.
But, I still know most important or funny scenes from the game.. I spoiled it for myself, it makes the pain of never finishing the game a little better. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ^^" And as for persona 3.. I chose persona 4 over P3FES at a store, and I can't say that I regretted the decision, just the fact that I waited so long to go back to buy P3.. by the time I went back it was already gone. |

Yeah, Catherine looks so awesome, I watched the trailer a little while ago and thought it looked pretty cool. I love the art style that you can find in most atlus games, particularly Persona. It's almost semi-realistic, but not quite. owo

Man, I really need to finish up Persona 3. I got to a point where I couldn't beat this one boss in the tower and ever since then I've moved to playing Dragon Quest VIII. Just finished it though, so maybe I'll be up to the challenge soon. Well... to be honest, that's not the only reason I stopped playing it. It started to feel like too much of a grind to me. Grind levels on common monsters, face a boss in the tower, lose, grind more and form a better strategy, beat the boss, and so on. It's odd, but with grinding in DQVIII I didn't feel like I was actually grinding (even while I was hunting Metal King Slimes), but with Persona 3 I'm at the point where it feels like I'm just going through the motions. I kinda feel like the game's losing steam as I progress. I couldn't get enough during the first half, but now I feel like I'm losing interest.
I have the fourth one so I plan on playing that too. I want to finish up the third one first though, which means playing through the answer part of FES as well... Is the fourth one largely similar to the third? If so I'll probably take a break from it for a while so I don't get completely burnt out like I have been lately |

P3 Did kind of drag on forme near the end. After I maxed out as many of my stats and social links and so many people were to sick to fight in the tower I swear I had terrible luck in that game. P4 has a differnt kind of twist on the story and I like it myself. the game play is similar but the story sure aint. that game almost mad me cry P4 grips you! P3 was just awesome! |

I just want something big to happen story-wise that'll change the game up a little. I'm getting bored of nothing but fighting, which is why a have to force myself to level up so when the time comes I'm not up a creak when fighting a full moon boss, which seem to be getting easier as I progress actually. I'm having more trouble with the "checkpoint bosses", I'll call them, in the tower than the big guys themselves.
Also, I've never been a fan of how in some RPGs (some being most) the characters who aren't in the battle don't gain the experience. It makes sense, but since when has any (successful) video game made complete sense. Though Super Mario RPG was a more light-hearted rpg (and very over-rated when compared to most of the other Mario rpgs in my opinion), I think it did get that concept right. I think I'm just very particular when it comes to rpgs. I want them to be engaging, but not overly complicated. I HATE it when rpgs do that "if you want the best equipment you have to grind for it for about 10 days because the drop rate is lower than 1%" thing. Don't get me wrong, I think those games wouldn't be as fun if they just gave you everything on a silver platter. It's just that the game designers don't realize that NOBODY wants to waste that much time and not even be sure that they'll benefit from it. I think that's why the Pokemon games no longer appeal to me. You have to go through MONTHS of breeding to get the perfect IVs, and even then you probably wont get them unless you cheat, and what fun is that? That is where I think Dragon Quest VIII got it right. The best stuff is hard to get, but you wont spend too much time searching for it. They give you enough Orichalcum to make the best armor through the course of the game. Even the optional bosses in the game were fair. Sure you had to do a bit of grinding, but you didn't have to reach level 99 (the highest level) to beat the Hardest enemy in the game. You just had to come up with the best strategy. In fact, I'd wager a guess that even at the highest level you would have a hard time without some sort of strategy. I think I was at about level 74 or something when I beat him (though admittedly I got lucky and dodged one of his death blows (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ). Well, that may have been a bit off topic. The game in question isn't even guilty of the majority of these things. Oh, well. I typed all that and I don't feel like changing it (lazy). |

I loved P3. In my mind P3> P4.
I still do have to get P4, even though I've watched so many gameplay videos. I would get Catherine, but it's rated M and I'd have to have my mom buy it for me. awkkward. |
