What's the best site, in your opinion, to watch anime? I know of Crunchyroll. That's really the only one I use, because they have an awesome app for their site.
But I want to discover some other cooler ones. Mostly because Crunchyroll doesn't have Code Geass season two and I got into that series recently. |

There are a lot of anime sites, most of them just have embedded videos from sites like Mega Video or FaceBook. Are you looking for subbed or dubbed animes?

Noviwan: Oh yeah, heard of animefreak, too. |

I usually use anime-sub.com or animeseason.com. They're both the embedded video sites, but they're not bad. It seems like anime's are being copyright marked right now, so some of them might be taken down.

Yeah, seems Code Geass R2 was taken down in the second site you mentioned, but the first one has it! :D

Yes. The first one seems to have escaped the copyrightists for the moment. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) Glad you found it.

Ever thought of torrenting? Its definitely the best way to get the anime of your choosing. I only just started torrenting less than a year ago and its so much easier than having to go from site to site looking for the Anime of your choice.

The first and only Trojan I had ever gotten on my computer was received from Crunchyroll. I knew better, too. Especially when pop-ups came up the wazzoo as soon as I got on the thing. That was awhile back, and I have no idea how the app for it is. It may be better. But I never go there.
Usually, I can catch anime, and finish it, on YouTube before it gets taken down ala copyright. Sometimes, I'll use Veoh, though. It's sorta like YouTube. I also visited animetube before. It was a pretty small, embedded-video-based site when I had went a couple of years back, and I had just never checked in since then, but it was very convenient. There was some other place, but I forget. |

Doesn't torrenting involve downloading? I wouldn't trust something like that at all.

If you go to the right sites then you're fine. Like I don't go to Piratebay at all because anyone can upload anything they want with anything in it. I go to a private site that is very thorough with their stuff and I haven't had a single problem yet and any Anime I wanted they had in both languages.

Well, if you're looking to actually download the anime, then I'd go directly to the subbing groups themselves. For releases that have been taken down due to subbing groups vanishing/shutting down/going extinct/etc., your best bet is bakabt. What's more, if you're having trouble finding out who's subbing what and who's better than who, look up the anime you want on anidb. Granted, anidb is useful for much, much more than just looking up subbing groups, but that's irrelevant right now.
When it comes to websites that stream anime, there really aren't very many options that aren't embedded player sites. Depending on what series you're looking for, Crunchyroll (demonspawn DX) and FUNimation (worse than demonspawn!) are pretty much the only places you'll find that support their own streams... because they're the ones that hold the US license for the series. I highly recommend just going straight to the source of the subs and downloading from them - you can delete the file afterward if you need to. |

Grizzly Wing: Could I possibly get the name of that site you use?
Celia: The app should be a lot better. There's no strange pop-ups or anything. It's really convenient! Mizuki: Where exactly can I find who subbed the anime on anidb? I was looking at the Code Geass page (there's a couple) and couldn't find it. It's probably somewhere obvious. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) |

Yea the site is called
www.demonoid.me Its private so in order to actually register on the site and start getting stuff you need to have someone who is already a member invite you. I love its system because if you invite someone to the site and they start doing questionable things like trying to upload viruses or things of that nature they get banned and the people that invited them also have a high chance of being banned as well so its like people aren't going to invite people they don't trust because it could jeopardize their own membership. Anyways I'm a member of the site so if any of you want to check it out and promise not to get me banned or anything like that I'll toss you an invite. |

It's right on the anime's page. Just scroll down and you'll see it underneath the section for "discussion topics". It looks a lot like a table or graph, and has the group names to the left.
.......Though. Since Code Geass has long since been dubbed and released on DVD, you might have a hard time finding groups that still have it. |

OH! I see it now. Thanks, Mizuki. Yeah, I'll look into the subbing groups. It is a bit of an older anime. I found it funny they even have a picture of it up on the site. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

*eyes bug out*
You..... You.......... consider Code Geass to be an "older" anime? ................................................................................ ............... ...............................I think I just died. Excuse me for a minute. *a minute slowly passes* Okay. Um. My personal recommendation would be THORA. They generally have rather large file sizes, but their encodes are spectacular and they choose the best subs available at the time. |

I consider Sailor Moon and Cardcaptor Sakura to be older animes. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
I've never heard of the one you like, Oscar. |
