I find it actually worth making friends with him. he is pretty rude at first, but he makes a neat friend in the end. and he's really nice to the child too.

I think he is pretty cool once he becomes your friend. I thought the prank was funny. He's is jerk though. But I would never steal Ceci away. I can't stand that girl. I love the request where she tells you Jake proposed. I always say the same thing "What are waiting for!?" (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . Plus he is nice to you when you're a kid.

His requests are so funny too. "Come see me... Unless you're chicken." Me: I Am Not A Chicken!!! instantly takes request and runs to where Jake is.

He got on my nerves throughout the entire game, so I purposefully went thru all of his and Cecelia's rival events, up to their marriage just I could take Cecelia away and marry her. It was great! I wonder how he felt about marrying Yue...

You know I spent forever coming up with little stories to justify why the left out guy ended up marrying Yue. Because otherwise it was just too weird. It wasn't that hard to make up something for Jake, Ray was really hard though. They do no seem like they would make a good couple.

Jake is indeed a decent person... or, rather, BECOMES one. Mostly thanks to Kyle, to boot. Probably he's just the poster child of tensions between humans and elves (although it's rather odd, seeing as his own father is big friends with humans, his mother is presumably HUMAN and his almost-girlfriend is... no, wait, Ceci must be an elf, like Tabatha). If this tension didn't exist, there would be no reason for Tabatha and Egan to talk about building "bridges"... although, on the other hand, there is an elven blacksmith in Trampoli and an elven artist in Sharance - they all co-exist with humans just fine.

I just think Jake has issues now that I have reviewed my opinion of him. or maybe there was some crazy war on elves started by humans? they never really get into the story like that though

Yeah Ceci is half-elf which is one of the main reasons Jake likes her. I like that Jake doesn't like humans. Because it's true if all humans and elves got along the they would have already reached the goal they are always talking about. Now I want to see a human that is prejudice against elves. I would probably want to punch him/her in the face. You don't know anything about elves jerk!

Jake is okay in my books. Didn't quite like him at first and saw him some what as a rival, but in the second generation he gave me the weapon I used through the last half of the game so I gotta like him for that. Decent weapon that was easy to upgrade.
