I have to agree that being made to have a lot of monsters to farm isn't that good of an idea, and I like having a lot of monsters.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Ymir has an auto walk if you want to get to an island (that you have been to before) faster then normal.

I just had a thought, if Xseed doesn't localize Oceans then we are going to get stuck with Natsume's voice actors/actresses. Which means Candy, Tabitha and Anette won't have the same voices as they did in Frontier.

Anyhow, 10 days until Oceans is released!

I was looking at Mikoto's info and I really don't get how the islanders think she is a he.
Even her in-game model doesn't look like a guy to me.

Because it's funny. It doesn't have to make sense. I really want to see how that plays out in-game. Like if there is an actual sub-plot about it. Or if it isn't really talked about. Maybe some of the guys will invite "him" to go to the hot spring with them. I doubt it, but that would be awkward (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) .

She is a samurai or something right? So maybe they just assume she's a he based on the fact most warriors are guys.

I really like Mikoto. She and Merupinn or (whatever the elf maid's name is) are my favorite girls so far.

I'm pretty sure Mikoto doesn't even go to the beach, so yeah, no awkward scenes. And she's Finis islands samurai guard, there are these pirate goblins who attack the town.

Merupurin is really growing on me, the first time I saw her I didn't care for her much.

I've never seen Mikoto at the beach in any of the screenshots, but I've seen almost all of the other characters in them... Maybe she does go to the beach, but only at night.

Ymir is an okay name. And I don't like games where you can change a lot of characters names, kinda feels odd.

Apparently you just talk to her when she is a statue and somehow she becomes normal again.

I'm thinking about making a topic just for the character info, since it's kind of a pain to look through 26 pages of talking.

Phew! Read all 26 pages in one setting! I can't wait to play as Sonia (I hope Azel's stats pass on to her...) I decided to look up the voice actors for the characters and here's a list of some notable roles for each one:

Hey bunnychan, thanks for posting that, and welcome to the forums.
Most of those voice actors and actresses are known for their work, I'm kinda surprised that they are doing voice work for such a small game series.
Oh and, I'm pretty sure that Bonapart's voice actor has done the voice work for all of the de Saint-Coquille fathers.

@epona I think Harvest Moon is a lot more popular in Japan than the USA. I was going to mention that fact about Bonapart's voice actor, but I forgot. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) Also, he might be (or share the same name) as a professional swimmer. Voice actors try to get as many jobs as possible, since they don't know when the next job may be. It's the downside to creative jobs, like acting or writing.

Someone mentioned growing crops with wands and needing monsters for crops. (thinks about subject) Well I've always liked foraging more than growing crops and I guess I'll have to work on getting monsters more than I usually do. The wand thing actually might be a good thing for me <3.

Also, the 15 save file spaces might be overkill. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif) I mean the most people will use will be... (4 bachelors... 10 bachelorettes... 1 mystery man... 15...) Actually that might be just enough. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif) I guess this supports the Mystery man as being a marriage candidate! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaevil.gif)

If you look at Pandora's profile she has "(???)" where it should say marriage candidate, and then go look at Masked Man's profile he has the same "(???)" as she does. Which could mean that Pandora is a villein or it means that Masked Man is a marriage candidate. Hopefully both.

I'm not happy that RF3 got a higher score then Oceans did, but I don't really care about reviews in the long run.

Off topic, I finished the character info topic, but I can't find a picture of Juslyn or the kids.

I agree. It's not like everybody likes the same things in games. So reviews can be helpful but don't only buy games with good reviews. Cause you'll be missin' out.

I can't believe it. Even I know some of those characters. And I hardly ever watch anime. I'm surprised Kilt and Knit didn't have the same voice actor like a lot of cartoon twins (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) .

I certainly hope there is another bachelor. Hes pretty much the only hope of that though. There is no way they'd be saving anyone else when the release is a week away.

And I think the only characters who have the same voice actress are Masked Man and Juslyn.

As for the scoring issue, a lot of people on this thread said they liked character portraits better and maybe the reviewers thought the same thing. It could also be the wand for crops, the low amount of bachelors, or any other complaint WE'VE had.

Also, did anyone else notice that the site said it was closed down for good? I just logged off for a bit and it said the site was gone when I came back. I'm glad it came back though. I was so worried! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalacry.gif)

Three out of the four reviewers gave the game an 8, I'm thinking they just didn't like the wands or how long it takes to play the game.

I got scared when it said the site shutdown, but then I remembered that it's happened before.

Well, the currency is "gold". The inn is literally called "sisters" (shisutaazu) in kana, the kanji before it just says it's the inn. The general store is called "Toinzu". I can't tell what kind of shop is below the general store, but it's called "Chrono's" (kuronosu), it might be the weapon shop or something for golems. After that is the bath house. Then it's the clinic. The place after that has the kanji for "self" and "home", ah it's your house.

Well, that's about the best I can do.
