Yes I would drop the 3DS.But I have problems with PS3/Wii too
But also,I want a 3DS becuase I don't have a DS. So there is a lot of HM games that I want to play, like DS ,RF 1 2 3 and wind bazaar. Anyway About RFO, there is something that I did't understand. You can change between being a boy and a girl? I mean, if it is like that, the marriage is going to be funny :D |

About RFO, there is something that I did't understand. You can change between being a boy and a girl? I mean, if it is like that, the marriage is going to be funny :D Sonia (the girl) and Azel (the boy) have a little problem when they get sent to the world of RF:Oceans. Sonia's body disappears and her soul is stuck in Azel's mind. So far we have seem them fighting in a lot of the screenshots. Azel get's jealous of Sonia's boyfriends, while Sonia get's mad at him for flirting with the town girls. You play as Azel for most of the game. You can only change between the two of them at the end of the main story, which means you have to wait a long time before getting marred. |

Artesox, just postpone buying 3DS until Rune Factory 4 comes out. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
If you want DS games, you can buy DS Lite, since it will give you access to Gameboy Advance library and some extensions unique to the GBA slot (like those for Guitar Hero). It's quite affordable nowadays, and because of GBA compatibility it has a distinction from 3DS so you don't need doubt about buying two platforms with the same functionality. |

An update that is pretty normal (imo).
Main Site. It has a new blog post, more Q&A's, The Masked Man and the purple haired woman(Forgot her name) now have their profiles up in the villagers page, you can hear Bismarck's voice on his profile, and there is a page on the request board. I think that's about it for the main site. Here is a screenshot of Knit and Kilt asking you to do a request. (IMG:http://www.famitsu.com/news/201101/images/00039865/LJVT8Kp4d24xLp612t4i5P1R1MliTY14.jpg) A picture from the Drama CD of the girls and it looks like Pandora with the light blonde/white hair. (IMG:http://www.mmv.co.jp/special/game/runeoceans/product/images/special_ttl04_img.jpg) I'll update this post if I find more info later. Edit: Someone posted a very interesting point about the character Masked Man... QUOTE If you look beside all the characters names on the official website you will see their roles, such as, hero candidate, heroine candidate, and villager. If you look at the characters name's under NPC's section of the character pages, all the villagers have something similiar to villager or resident beside their name. If you look at masked man's page he has (???) beside his name. This doesn't confirm he is a marriage candidate but it's pretty suspicous if you ask me. I'm thinking this just means that he is the main bad guy and he might be a marriage candidate, but we will have to wait and see. Requests seem to be a way to get closer to the character who posted them and to get rare items. |

Azel: Kneel before me, minions! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaevil.gif) Just noticed the the person in the mask has a sweet lookin sword in his/her character bio section. Hope I get to get it from him/her. Obviously through fighting him/her (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) Is it confirmed that it's a dude? Lots of people are referring to the masked person as "he" |

Well, his/her name is Masked Man(not masked person) so people assume he/she is a man. But masked man's seiyuu is a female so some people(like me) think he/she is going to end up being a she as a plot twist.

Masked Person's gender is not confirmed. It is just easier to say he than to say he/she all the time. And technically I think his/her name is Masked Man so that's why people say he even though "he" might end up being a she. I hope not. There are enough girls in this game (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . Either way Masked Person is the best character in this game so far.
Seriously that must be one important request (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif) . I am really glad they brought that back. Is that Odette? What's up with her hair? Electra looks so pretty with her hair down. I had no idea it would be that long. |

QUOTE Azel: Kneel before me, minions! lol'd at this. As xXWizardxMollyXx15 said the persons name is Masked Man, and if he turns out to be a she I'm going to blow my top because there are already too many girls on this island (I think it's name is Finis island?). I'm so glad the request system is back, I missed it in Frontier. QUOTE Is that Odette? What's up with her hair? Electra looks so pretty with her hair down. I had no idea it would be that long. Yes it's Odette and she looks like that because the picture was not drawn by what's his name, you know the guy who always draws the official art for RF games. I wish Electra would always have her hair out like that, and her hair would have to be that long in real life if she wanted hair-buns like that. |

Ooooh I see. I didn't think Electra's buns were that big. So I thought her hair would be shorter.
There are way too many girls. I think so far even the villagers are mostly female. |

Lol, What the waffles? Are they just making that information up or... no... surely not.... There's no way there's actually canon info about this.... is there? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) There seriously was info about it. The game developer himself answered these questions, so it's pretty legit. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Read the new blog entry, important info is as follows: Looks like the NPCs are really smart in this one. Sometimes they take detours back to their house at night is what I read. And the only real differences between the PS3 and Wii versions are the differences within the consoles themselves. |

Really? well then, is there a link to all this info? I'm curious.... What? don't look at me, I just asked what everyone is thinking (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . That, and I find it really hard to believe that the developers went into that much detail in that particular aspect of the characters. In fact, I don't think I've ever heard anything like this being done in a video game. If both versions are the exactly the same, then what's the point of the PS3 version unless you don't have a Wii. It's going to be cheaper on the Wii so Why bother with the PS3 version? You sure there isn't a slight difference? Maybe load times or something? |

Booby question:
http://www.mmv.co.jp/special/game/runeoceans/special/ It's the fifth new question. Order(left to right) is biggest to smallest. (Life= Mikoto) Heroine Lili> Life> Electra> Sonia> Merupurin> ≧ Sara Odette> Iris> Elena Hero Joe> Azel> James> Bismarck Like this. (Hashimoto) The trophy system is a little different in the wii version than the ps3 version and both the games are going to cost the same amount of money(in japan). There isn't really a difference between the wii and ps3 version other than that, the reason why it's multi-platformed is to reach a bigger audience. Exactly. Thought the trophy system was like the Xbox achievements, so I didn't note it, as I felt it was common sense. Most everyone that posts in this topic is getting the Wii version anyway, if I remember right.
Dingo: Um... Trust me. Japanese people do that with most, if not all, their video games. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) So... I wish to see Pandora. Can't wait. D: |

Whoa, no way! I just ran the question through Microsoft Word's translator program and you guys are right, the creator answered that legitimately. Those Japanese never cease to surprise me (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) .
At least it was a girl asking (from what I could tell) so that makes it kinda less weird (but not really (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) ). |

What's the trophy system?
Anyways I wonder if people have to move in like with RFF or if everyone will be there from the start. I kinda liked getting the characters to move in and the little scenes you got when you met them. Well at least that happened for the bachelorettes. |

The trophy system is just the PS3's version of achievements. Doing fiddly things earns you a nonexistent certificate to tell everyone that you did stuff.

You're darn right it is (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) .

I've never seen the trophy/achievement thing as being that big of a deal. They're nice and all and I could see myself trying to unlock all of them for a game, but shouldn't you play a game because it's good and not just for achievements?
So the Wii version is going to have an achievement system? Okay I guess... isn't the whole point of achievements to show them off to other players online? Unless they use them to unlock more features in the game, they seem kinda pointless, especially since the online communication for the Wii isn't as good as the PS3's or 360's |

As this usually happens, I'm gone for more than a day and I'm not bothered to read all the posts and only look at the pictures on the page.
What's the news? :) |
