Thanks Darth, I don't know why my scans link isn't working anymore.

I like all the characters so far, but I want to know what the spirits do and how they help with the crops.

Bismarck better not be one of those shy-nerdy type guys, James better not be sister obsessed, and Joe better not be an all-the-time-hyped-guy who thinks about himself all the time. Or else I'm going to be really mad that they just took a bunch of guys from HM games and threw them into Oceans!
Sorry about that rant, but I keep looking at all the girls and I see how cool and interesting they seem, and then I look at the guys and I see, 'meh, same old, same old.' (Note that I really like James and Bismarck's designs, I'm just worried about their personality's.)

Merupurin. Never mind, I'm just going to call her Green-haired maid, she looks like Kuruna to me and my older brother. Green-haired maid also has a cold-hearted personality when you first meet her, so I'm not really looking forward to meeting her in game.
Electra's swimsuit reminds me of those dresses that tap-dancers used to wear in the Forty's, I think it was?

Cuc, on Ushi no Tane says, "Joe is (according to the official site) a manchild who searches for treasures, gets up late, and peeps on girls." another person said, "Joe - A treasure hunter that searches for treasure in the sea. Joe sounds kinda funny, but creepy at the same time.

And the reason why Bismarck looks the way he does in that picture is because he is troubled when it comes to Sarah (his older twin), because she is so lazy when it comes to running the shop.

Its got kids marrying kids and having babies... Natsume is pushing limits with the laws in these games and need to go back to fully mature characters.

18 and up please. Don't just say they are, give them the appearence too. Rune Factory Frontier was the best game in this series. Other than that, Rune Factory is EXTREMELY weird and makes me uncomfortable.

The series has never had characters look particularly adult-like. It's a little ridiculous sometimes, but with the series going on 15 years or so it's kinda just how it is.

I agree with GamerAndWatcher, it would be nice to see older looking character designs. Most of the characters in Oceans look to be 17-21. But some of them do look about 12-14.

I really just don't care about the characters looking so young. Actually, I hadn't noticed. I guess I'm just used to it. X.X;

I wonder who the shadowed character in the scan is. Unless I missed something. I haven't read the massive spoiler tags. I want to keep some things to a surprise still....

I can see where you're coming from with the "too young to marry" thing, but to be fair it is japanese animation and asians are known for looking younger than they really are. An example would be (last years?) Olympics and the whole controversy about those girls being too young to compete. Perhaps this has something to do with it.
I already think too much, so I haven't really paid it much attention. If it really bothers you though, don't marry those particular girls.

on another subject (or rather the same subject but a different section) I'm rapidly becoming impatient. I want to play this game, but it's not coming out for, like, another year. the game's probably finished already, it just needs translated. I know it's a text-heavy game, but come on. Guess I shouldn't complain too much though. Don't want it to be rushed. Plus, they need to find some good voice actors as well.

I'm hoping XSeed will translate Oceans, they did a really good job with Frontier and it got here fast as well. They also got good voice actors and actresses.

Nothing really important in the blog. They mentioned the cold thing again, where if you lose all RP and HP you end up in your bed at home with a cold... And they also mentioned they might reveal all the guest characters soon. And that there are three of them.

I'm pretty used to young looking characters in the series so it doesn't bother me as much. But I agree they should put more older characters in the series. Someone the protagonist can actually respect, lol.

Bonaparte scares me to death, and seeing her dig all the time is just going to be creepy. And the man who does her voice does the voices for all the DSC fathers... just creepy.

I'm hoping that the guest characters will be from Frontier, seeing Candy, Cinnamon, and Kanno would be great.

So I was wondering, who are your favorite marriage candidates so far? I know we don't know a lot about them but I like James, Azel. Elena, Iris, and Sonia. Oh! and Mikoto!

I had an odd dream last night. I dreamed that I was given a chance to play a demo of the game.

Somehow it had a completely different story from what has already been established. Azel just wondered into some mining town, was greeted by the mayor (some random character my brain made up) and wondered into some abandoned mines where I guess he found some artifact. Once he found his way out the mayor got all angry, Azel started walking away, and his pants ripped (I don't know either (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) ), which made all the townspeople laugh (which for some reason included Sonia). Then he walked away all angry saying something along the lines of "It's good to be back" in a sarcastic tone, hinting that he had once been there and ending the demo. Then the producers asked for my opinions and told me the game would be out tomorrow, which got me excited when I woke up only to realize that it was just a dream. Weird
I always have awesome dreams when I eat before bed.

Anyway, I couldn't say which of the candidates I like yet cause I usually save my judgments till I play the games. But I do like Sonia (he says completely negating his previous statement).
