Actually, I understood little about the first video. It looks weird... but interesting.
I don't think that RFO will feature the exact horror of Runey System. The series is known for learning and improving, after all. |

I'm glad they are known for learning and improving, it puts my mind at ease.
I'm happy that there are two kids in Oceans, Kilt and Knit seem like they will be a good sister, brother pairing. I like looking at this picture. (IMG:http://www.mmv.co.jp/special/game/runeoceans/system/images/adv_img07.jpg) My two best buddies! |

Yeah it looks like an underwater dungeon/rune, which hopefully is going to be a lot of fun to explore.
Azel's sword is wicked looking, and I think he is wearing the Cats tail, I used to give that to Bianca all the time in Frontier. |

... Oh my.
That lady with the crazy butterflys on her hat is... Electra's mother? I guess she does seem like the type to dig around in her backyard. >_> Funny. Sarah is like Karina from three, hates work... But it's because she loves to go out and play. Seems she acts younger than she is? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Looks like Electra's full name is Electra Viviaju Hattain. Pretty long... It seems Lili is bad at cooking, and clumsy (would've thought that was Odette...), Odette is strong minded and a good cook, and Iris is shy... That I expected. Knit and Kilt are cute. Looks like the boy is sickly and likes to read, while the girl loves to run outside and play, but she has trouble because she has to take care of her brother. They are orphans and live inside the church... Most of this has probably already come to light, but I didn't read the entire topic, so I wouldn't know. And I like to find stuff out on my own anyway. :B |

Some of this info had not been talked about or posted yet, thanks for doing it.
Lady with the crazy butterfly's on her hat scares me, and she really looks like Electra's grandmother (imo). I wonder if you do Electra's events, her mom will find the family treasure?... I don't like Sarah at all, she's just another tomboy to me so far. Electra Viviaju Hattain, that's a mouth full... I think I'll call her Vivi from now on. The three sisters are just like I thought they would be... normal. I'm going to love Knit and Kilt to death, I wish they would let you adopt them. Spoiler:
Here is an old post by cuc, on Ushi no Tane, I forgot to post it. Story and world: -Judging from the opening, there are 8 bachelorettes and 3 bachelors. -Finis Island is protected by dragon gods. The island's dragon is a "descend dragon", as opposed to the previous games' "native dragon". -Odette is the priestess (miko) of the dragon. You can pray and offer money to the dragon through her. -Sonia can sing spirit songs just like Candy. -The maid is voiced by Hirohashi Ryo. She is a dark-skinned elf, and wears glasses. Her name's either メルプリン merupurin or メルブリン meruburin, of which all google search results seem to point to either caramel custards (yeah) or organic chemistry. -Melprin (or Merublin, or Melpurin, and so on) used to be the maid of DSC family. Gameplay: -The bath is free. -The map displays locations of villagers. -The status screen has Light and Dark elements, but no Love element. -As has been revealed, you use a spirit staff to make crops grow. -The combat is fast and stylish. You can double-jump. -The giant controls smoothly. You can set his destination on the map. -When riding the giant, you can fish at certain locations on the map. -The first dungeon is the Hall of Earth Spirits. |

YESSS!
Fast fighting! I chose dual blades in RF3 because I couldn't stand how slow regular swords go... X'D Yeah, I thought Bonaparte (That's a weird name, but Electra's mother. >_>) Was more like a grandmother... She looks like one. And I wish that about Knit and Kilt as well. That would be so adorable... But we probably will only be able to be friends with them, at the most. =| |

The sword fighting is going to be so much better then in Frontier, and I'm also going to be playing Oceans with the dual blades.
Watching Bonaparte digging most of the time is going to be odd, I hope she has a good personality. Knit and Kilt will be my best friends. I remember in Frontier I wanted to play as a girl so I could marry Kanno, and adopt Cinnamon and Candy in a way. |

I hope to avoid Bonaparte if I can. But I doubt I can. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) I think I read somewhere that she's like the mayor or something...
Hmm. Reading the blog, it seems that we will have return magic again, along with a little shortcut thing where we can set a certain something to a button for easy access. It seems like you can do that with menus or items. Annnd, there's a bookshelf in your house that allows you to read tutorials and your recipes are stored there as well. |

Yeah I remember reading somewhere that she is the mayor, and Electra has to be in charge of the town.
Return magic is always a nice thing, and I do like shortcut things. I want to see the inside of Azel's house, and where it's located on the island. |

But their portraits are a little weird. Spoiler: So if what cuc thinks is right, than that means all the marriage candidates have been shown. Three sisters, Elena, Mikoto, Sara, Electra, and Merupuri/Meruburin are all eight bachelorettes. And James, Joe, and Bismarck are the three bachelors. I will be very sad if there isn't a special marriage candidate. Winter looks really pretty. (IMG:http://www.mmv.co.jp/message/media/41/20101228-fuyugesiki.jpg) |

I'm taking it that Merupuri/Meruburin is the green-haired girl's name, right?
We will see about the special marriage candidate thing. Azel and Sonia are special marriage candidates in a way, since they can marry each other. Winter is one second favorite season in RF/HM games. Spoiler: Do you think the masked person is the bad guy? Or Candy? if she makes an appearance that is. (IMG:http://www.mmv.co.jp/special/game/runeoceans/system/images/adv_img02.jpg) This picture really intrigues me, what's up with the temple-like buildings? |

Yeah, I'm almost positive it's the green-haired girl. I personally wouldn't count Azel and Sonia as special marriage candidates. But it could be. That would make me sad though.
Spoiler: I think masked person is a bad guy. All the pictures make him/her look evil. Maybe temples is like a running theme in the game. And every dungeon has one. They sure look cool. |

The temples make me think of Indiana Jones. Hopefully you can wear a Fedora (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) .
but seriously, that one looks mayan/aztec/ whatever inspired |

I want to know more too. But I think it's supposed to be a mystery. Since masked person seems important.
The snowflakes look so great. The graphics are amazing. |

Spoiler: They probably are the bad guy, and maybe the special marriage candidate? I'm calling masked person a girl until I know if the voice actress is just voicing for a guy character. I'm thinking that we will see dragons in the main story. I think there will be a temple at the end of every dungeon/rune. The graphics are very nice on my eyes. Who likes the thought of having to fight a boss monster before you can rise an island? |

You can never know... People are known to use the opposite dinosaurs in the room for voices. I mean... Azel is a woman. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
We must wait for confirmation, probably. Which'll be a while, seeming as they're on holiday still. I like the boss idea. :B |

Oh yeah, that's right Azel is being voiced by an actress. I forgot that, but it supports my idea about Masked Person.
Fighting a boss would make rising the islands feel a lot more rewarding and it will add some challenge/adventure. Spoiler:

Well, for masked person I think of it like this. There is a reason the person is masked. And they haven't said what gender he/she is. If it didn't matter they could have just mentioned it when they said the gender of his/her voice actor. And I doubt the characters are going to be thinking throughout the game "that person is totally a girl" and then end up being surprised that it is a guy. They are probably going to think it's a guy and it turns out it's a girl. I hope it doesn't end up like that. Because that's pretty generic. Which is the only reason why someone like me could come up with it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) .
I definitely like the boss before Island raising idea. |
