Wii. Don't have a PS3 and probably won't ever. It'd be the only game I'd get on it... X'D
Assuming my Wii doesn't break again. |

I'll be getting the wii version, since all I have is a wii.
So, the only marriage candidates for Sonia that we have seen are: 1. Azel 2. James 3. Joe 4. and the glasses guy. Do you think that is all of them? I hope they will start showing the islanders soon. |

Hey cuc on Ushi no Tane posted another update, but it's kinda spoiler-ish so I'll be putting it in a spoiler tag.
Spoiler:
-Ymir has its own RP. For Ymir, even walking consumes RP. -The ocean is huge. The reporter walked for 3 in-game hours and didn't come to the edge of the map. -There seems to be 3 types of islands: story-related island, salvageable islands (=farms?) and islands with randomly generated contents. -The penalty for losing all HP this time is to wake up with a cold next day. No money loss. -Using spirit staff to summon crops means you don't plant seeds; the yield is determined by the monsters you assigned to the field. -No door-knocking. The doors open automatically. -The head of Ymir is his cockpit. -The abdomen of Ymir is a monster pen. -The back of Ymir is a farm field. |

Oooh. This is looking good.
It looks like there'll be a lot of islands, then, if it took 3 hours and he didn't find the edge of the map. :] The RP thing will be interesting... |

Becuase I have no money for it lol. Oh, lol. Sorry about that anyway, I'm glad to hear the game will be big, but I'm kinda worried that the world will be a bit empty, Kinda like how The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass felt (in my opinion). I don't want it to just a bunch of ocean and some islands here and there. Then again, The villain is a pirate, so that opens up possibilities for oceanic battles. Ymir fights other giants on the sea too, if I remember correctly, so hopefully they can use these mechanics to ensure that the world feels more alive. |

QUOTE -Ymir has its own RP. For Ymir, even walking consumes RP. Makes sense in context. It's essentially a huge machine, after all. Maybe you'll have to visit Elena to "re-fuel" Ymir every time. QUOTE -The ocean is huge. The reporter walked for 3 in-game hours and didn't come to the edge of the map. Well... some games do have an engine that allows you to walk indefinitely into nowhere once you reach the end of the map... Let's pray it's not the case here, otherwise players might be in trouble. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) QUOTE -The penalty for losing all HP this time is to wake up with a cold next day. No money loss. LOL, and here I couldn't imagine how possibly MORE merciful this aspect could get after RF3. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Reminds me of Final Fantasy Legend 2 which I'm currently playing and in which defeat sends you straight to a deity that allows you to restart this battle an infinite number of times. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) QUOTE -Using spirit staff to summon crops means you don't plant seeds; the yield is determined by the monsters you assigned to the field. Huh, looks like sowing system from RF3 is developing... |

I think I'm going to like the farming in Oceans (Not big on tilling, sowing seeds, and watering).
Here are some new scans, or at least parts of new ones anyway. (IMG:http://www.nintendo-master.com/fichiers/news/25663/1292793878.jpg) (IMG:http://www.nintendo-master.com/fichiers/news/25663/1292793889.jpg) Are those dark Runes in the bottom right? |

Ooohhhh more picture of masked person. My favorite character (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . I can't help it masks are so cooool. I think those are dark runes. And Mikoto is looking great as always. I don't like the sounds of the farming. It better not be just be wave your prutty magic wand and make plants appear. Hope there is more work than that. I can imagine myself passing out a lot from walking too much on Ymir.
And I'm getting the Wii version. I don't have a PS3. It's like the only system we don't have (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . |

I don't know his name, I think he is some sort of guru... but yeah, he is in love with Azel.
The masked person is making me want to take their mask off. I'm pretty sure the farming is like this: You wave the wand around and depending on what monsters you have with you, you will get different crops. idk. Spoiler:
Oh yeah, and for a fact Sonia has a spirit song! Which makes me think the main bad guy took her body or something. |

I would rather get this on the PS3 since I play it a lot more and I hate having to plug the Wii av in every time I want to play it. However Wii games are very very cheap for me so I'm going to have to go with price over convenience

You can now see Azel and Sonia's bathing suits! |

Aww. I love Sonia's suit. It's so cute! :3
Reading the blog post, it's not really that important. It talks about the pre-order bonus' (which we won't be getting anyway) and the two things I most noted about the drama CD were that it seems the developer has a dark past in store for the three sisters, and that the comic posted was about Valentine's day. If I got this right, it seems all three sisters secretely made him chocolate. But yeah, nothing really that important. :| |

I'm thinking this is probably going to be the first dark RF story.
Cuc, on Ushi no Tane, translated some of the drama CD info. "The booklet will have 3 sections: 1. "Game guide" introduces newcomers to the RF series. 2. "Concept art" includes character profiles, background concept art and monster designs. 3. "Guest illustrations" includes contributions by 6 guest artists. When Hashimoto said "there'll be surprises", I thought he meant there'll be some big artists. It turns out these guests are people I've barely heard of. The most well-known of them is probably Nagi Ryou, the character designer of Ar Tonelico. The drama CD tracklist: 1. Oceans The drama CD version of the song "Oceans". 2. Episode 1: A Rune Factory Lesson A mysterious girl (Mist) teaches Azel and Sonia about the basics of the Rune Factory world. 3. Episode 2: Valentine Go Go! Odette and Iris are going to give Azel the Valentine's Day chocolate they made, when Lili shows up... 4. Episode 3: The Birth of Magic Meister Iris!? Iris, after saving a small canine monster, is chosen by a goddess to become Magic Meister Iris! Now she has to fight against Dark Monsters! (Needless to say, this is a non-canon magical girl parody.) 5. Episode 4: The Memory We Share - A Bond of Kindness (The title literally translates to Everyone's Memory) In a stormy night, Azel's house is leaking. Azel is fast asleep, so Sonia moves his body, and comes to the inn. The sisters welcome her and arrange to find her a place to sleep. This is a serious story about listening to the sisters talk of their past. 6. Special Medley A medley of music from RFO. Note: From the preview page of the booklet we can see "Lili" is the canonical spelling." I wish we were getting it too! |
