I would be deeply disturbed if you lived in Ymir. I wonder if you have to raise island not just for dungeons but for places where people live. Like you have to raise an island before you can meet certain people (never mind that is way too Sunshine Islandish).

I'm really hoping there is going to be an awesome "special" marriage candidate. There are so many possibilities for awesome characters in this game.

I've only met Tori through the mail in RF Frontier, and I liked her. It made me sad when she stopped writing letters to me. I've always been a softy for quiet girls in games, they remind me of what I was like a few years ago.

Well they said that you raise sunken islands, but they didn't say if it was for just dungeons or both types of islands. I want more details on Ymir and how he works.

That Lynette thing was totally awesome. I want something like that again. Although by now having a secret marriage candidate would actually be pretty expected. It was so great in RF1 because you didn't even think it was a possibility. After all these HM/RF games it is clear that know one is off limits. So I don't think anything they do will really be that surprising. However I would like secret marriage candidates anyways. It's still cool.

I found this stuff on Ushi No Tane.

-Azel and Sonia can marry each other.
-they are summoned here from another world.
-the inn is run by the 3 sisters. Iris is the only nurse here.
-there will be guest characters.
-there is an emphasis on rhythm and combo in combat.
-dual-wielding swords (first appeared in RF3) are in.
-no Classic Controller support
-it's been decided from the very beginning that there are no farms in RFO (This only refers to the large plot of land the player begins the game with. You can still cultivate land, but only on islands that the giant Ymir pulls out of the ocean).
-That short, blonde girl in a long coat is Elena. She's an expert on golems, and is responsible for the maintenance of Ymir.
(In summary: she's a smith who looks like a little girl, makes golems, and talks in a rude way. The article doesn't confirm whether she's James' little sister.)
-Mikoto is hired to safeguard this island. She has a long ponytail.
-Joe is a treasure hunter with spikey purple red hair and googles, who searches the sea for treasures. A troublemaker who likes playing pranks.
-Bacchus is Joe's grandpa. He's very old yet still strong, and drinks at the pub every day. He looks like a Viking.
-Gray is the priest. He's a kind person trusted by people.
Antagonists:
-The goblin captain is a leader of pirates.
-A mysterious man whose face is entirely obscured by a mask and a hood.
-The city is located on the Fenis Island (フェーニス島).
-Lily can't cook, while Odette is a great cook.
-Cera/Sara is a friend of Odette and Electra.
-Electra has no servants. She enjoys cleaning the house by herself, and also has to take part time jobs.
-Bonaparte is the mother of Electra. She spends each day trying to dig up their family treasure in their backyard, and Electra has taken up the responsibility as the representative of the island in her place.
-Kilt is the big sister and Knit is the little brother. They lives in the church. Kilt loves to play outside while Knit stays in the church reading books.

Festivals:
-Fireworks
-Swimsuit contest
-Jumbo lottery: held at Day 27 of each month, winning an item through roulette

So much information (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif) . Mikoto looks like she has silver hair in her portrait but black hair in her 3D model. But umm is Mikoto a girl? She really reminds me of Mei with the ponytail and straight face. She is my favorite girl so far. Elena is a cutey, I guess she might not be James's sister. So is Joe a marriage candidate? I like James and his crazy hat better.

I don't know what's up what the black hair in-game and silver hair in the character art, and I'm pretty sure Mikoto is a girl, since the name Mikoto is a girls name.
I'm not sure what to think of Elena right now.
I don't like Joe, I mean his is manly and all, but I don't like his type of personality.
I think it's cool that Azel and Sonia can marry each other, and it makes sense to me as well.
I'm pretty sure that when it said 'there will be guest characters' it meant characters from previous games.

Well, she was cute and quiet, and very charming. Alas, RF1 doesn't have much dialogue compared to later installments, so she pretty much talks about books the whole time. Still, I like her. It'd be nice to have her as a guest character.

Actually, I already set a bachelor's eye on the game. So far, from the first impression, Sonia and Elena look like my choice. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalagrin.gif) I suspect Elena might turn out to be a tsundere like Rosetta.
