I think so. I think in the interviews I've read the creators have said it's the first (well, the first of the ones they've made so far) as far as chronologically goes. I think the new world Zelda/Tetra and Link found and started in Spirit Tracks, like, the map looks like the other maps of Hyrule, from A Link to the Past and Minish Cap. So it'd make sense if in the "timeline" of Zelda those games all came later on. I dunno, maybe it only makes sense to me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)

No, I have heard that, too. It'll be nice to see the actual very beginning.

But I seem to enjoy playing the most current game (in terms of the timeline) more than games taken place in the past. Not to say I won't like this one, but I like the more "modern" game. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) Though OoT is my favorite Zelda game and WW is a close second. <3

Well, the ones that are more current, I suppose by what you mean, are mostly on the Gameboy/Adv, and for some weird reason if I play those for too long they give me a headache. :( As for ALttP, I never finished that. I got stuck and gave up and never went back. :\ I like OoT and MM the most. TP's good and all, but I played it too much. Got dull.

Yeah, I hate that they are mostly portable games, the current ones. Wind Waker was the last most current game on the big screen.
But this one looks great! Seems to be a fresh breath of air.

Haha, TP was kind of dull to begin with. Well, not like horribly dull (I loved it), but it was missing something.

I like alot of the Zelda games, and when it comes to pick a favorite I always find myself choosing between Majora's Mask and OoT... Though I guess MM would be ultimately my favorite. Love how it has it's own sort of vibe and changed the gameplay nicely. Only complaint would be that it was too short.

Oh and I'm really hoping to see some Deku/Kokiri and Zora as well in SS. Have already seen that Gorons will be there, so I kind of want origin stories of the other races.

Same here, HMR. But Wind Waker also goes along with those three for me.
And I was upset when Spirit Tracks didn't have an Zora or Kokriri folk. V.V; The love their Gorons, eh? Gurf.

Well in the time of ST, havn't the Kokori and the Zora evolved? The Zora turned into those bird things, and the Kokoris' spirits turned into those little tree people things.

Yeah, you're right, they have!

That's why I really like OoT and WW. Both games speak to each other, more so WW, I guess, but both are great together and in my opinion they are highlights in the series.
You play OoT and then you go to the the future and play WW and see what has changed, but there's still references to the Hero of Time. :D

*Note that the actual soundtrack CD will come within all initial copies of Skyward Sword. The bundle includes really just the controller.

And the release date? November 20th. US. Umm, the 18th, I believe, for Europe.

"What's the matter Link? You cuckoo?"

The romance trailer reminded me of how much I dislike Zelda's nose. It won't change the game for me in any way though so whatever and hey not everybody has to be beautiful right? At least that's what people keep telling me

I feel like they made her plain and not the most beautiful to get that idea in your head that she's a beautiful princess. In this game, she is just a regular village girl, nobody special.
