I have been thinking about getting this game because I really like Frantic Farming. If anyone here has played this game I would appreciate if you could tell me if it's any good or not (poor lonely post board needed a topic too).

Game Review

I looked up a review for you. This site is really accurate with reviews. I read it, and in my honest opinion I would say you probably shouldn't get this. I mean, unless you find it at a cheaper price. Also, Frantic Farming didn't get the best of reviews and I still loved it like you. The reviewer seems like a true fan of the series though.

I got it for 10 dollars. I either still have it in storage or sold it for a dollar to help me get a bonus 10 dollars or something in trade ins. Its a decently fun game. It sure as helk isn't worth the price of a full DS game. More like a DS ware add on. So if you find it for 10 dollars or cheaper like me it's probably worth it since you are a Harvest Moon fan. If you weren't then I'd say its probably worth only a couple of dollars. Thats in general, I actually found it pretty addicting and didn't regret buying it. Just pissed off they named Jack what they did. Can't even say it.

Ok that's good to know. I'll keep my eyes open and if I can find it at a good price I'll pick it up. Wait they changed Jack's name? That doesn't sound good, but I'd get it anyways (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) . Although after reading that review I'm sure I'm going to suck at this game. He doesn't have an official name. Or didn't, not really. There was no default name, in BTN book it said Fred on the manual. Just showing someone making a character. I think Pete was the default name on Harvest Moon Gameboy Color game and so they used that. Jack is more of a fan name I believe, but such a widely known fan name Natsume should have recognized.

Really? I guess they didn't always give characters default names. I always though they all had an official name since everyone knew what to call them. I still like Jack and that's what I'm going to call him.

I own the game and I have to say its interesting for 1-3 levels. There is no plot like in Frantic Farming and it gets kinda tiring since there isn't any different modes of playing. Its your choice if you still want to buy it. I got mine's because I collect the Harvest Moon games and was curious how it would play out. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) *goes to get game* The guys name is Pete and the girl is Clair. But wait...wasn't the main character from magical melody also called Pete?? O_O Eh..well anyway its an ok game but shouldnt be worth over 10 dollars.

I actually did end up getting that game that doesn't exist for six dollars. I didn't like how there was no plot. Frantic Farming is definitely better. I love that game.
