I usually have dreams about whatevers on my mind. I swear I had RF dreams for about two months.

A couple nights ago, I dreamed my dad went bankrupt. And he was murdered, then my mom was, so I ran. Then I ended up at my old school where a girl I once had a crush on painted a picture of hypnotoad, then I worshipped the toad, then I played my dsi. Then she took my dsi and ran into a cave, and I followed her. Then I ended up in a courtyard. And I woke up.

A week ago. I dreamed I got a scholarship to the first 'School in Space'
But when I got there, the Joker was planning to crash it into the Earth, and I fought the Jokers bandits off and died saving the Earth, then I woke up and the Joker was in front of me about to kill me, then I woke up for real.

I fell asleep on the sofa a little while ago and had a dream in which I sneezed causing me to have a rather bad nose bleed involving brown blood. Not sure what that was all about, kinda gross though.

I always have weird dreams but the night before last I had a dream that I was part of Gordan Ramsay's heck's Kitchen, and that my team had won the reward challenge and we all got to go up in these very small jets that were all shaped weird and fly around super fast.
And then suddenly Clive Owen showed up but I think my mind began to trail off being on a cooking show to well... Clive Owen...

I constantly have dreams in which I'm trying to fall asleep. And it is incredibly annoying, because I never know if I'm asleep or awake. Of course, when I'm dreaming, I'm trying to fend off some really strange distractions (once it was an adolescent tiger continually clawing my blanket. My family doesn't even own a cat.), but I don't know they're strange, because I'm dreaming.

And I have recurring dreams of having bit parts in preteen movies, most of which don't even exist. Which is strange, because I really don't like cheesy preteen movies and I have no desire to act when I grow up. What scares me is that it's recurring. Dx

And once I dreamed I was Angela from Tree of Tranquility. x_o I had been playing for about five hours past my schedule-dictated bedtime, okay? And the world was full of big-headed 3D model-people, and Lumi said I was smelly. ;-; Apparently, I've been imagining Waffle Town from all sorts of different angles, because it all seemed pretty real.

A friend of mine claims that he trained himself to think of light switches as he's falling asleep, so that when he dreams, there's always a light switch. So his dream-self flips it, and if nothing happens, he knows he's dreaming because the lighting in your dreams will not change.
I don't know if it really works, or if he's making stuff up, but try it at home, see if it does! :D

I have this really strange dream whenever I get really sick. It's always a little different, but it always has like the same feel and look. D;

The first time I had it was probably about 5 or 6, because I remember being at my dad's house and in the guest room. I was sick that night and it was the scariest dream ever. There's this HUGE dark room, and there are these three shadow type people. The first shadow is this big, like scary silhouette, and it's really loud. It's a man. The second is a smaller, thinner one, she's very... Sharp? Her edges are really jagged, like messed up and scary. I'm 75% sure its a girl. Then there's the smallest one, it's a baby or something, and she cries really loudly.

The second & first shadow are like screaming and throwing things, I just can't really see it, but it feels like I'm there, it's really weird. The baby is crying and the two other shadows ignore it and keep yelling and fighting. After time, the fight gets physical and the bigger shadow hits the second one and she falls to the ground. Then finally, the first shadow leaves, I think he usually slams a door, and the first shadow picks up the baby and tries to make it stop crying.

Then sometimes, when I wake up, I feel horrible, and I hallucinate. It feels like there are like, teeth-textured bugs crawling under my skin. I know it's an awkward way to explain it, but the only thing I really can comprehend from the feeling is teeth. XD
I can't pick things up for a while, like one time I tried to walk it off and tried to get a bowl from the cabinet but I dropped it because it felt really heavy. But I guess this is about deams and I'm droning on. :P

Another variation on it was like, there were a bunch of snakes and they were trying to get into the babies crib, but the biggest shadow tried to stop them and gets bit. Apparently the night I dreamt this one I was yelling and kicking in my sleep. Dx

It's awfully scary when I'm dreaming them. I get excited when I get really sick because I want to be able to see them again. =/

I get dreams about everything I've forgotten to think about, usually.

I often get this dream about standing on a clifftop in the rain and seeing some kind of ghost ship in the distance. I put this down to too many pirate comics.

There was a fun kind of nightmare I had a couple of days ago where I was in the Saw maze, and I didn't really care so much. You were supposed to go into one room after another and solve/survive the hideous trap in each a little like Saw, but it was more like a game show and therefore less entertaining. It was in front of a live studio audience too, so when I chickened out at this room where I had to be covered in beetles everyone went, "Ooooh" and I took my prize money (?) and left to the disappointment of both the audience and Mr. Jigsaw. Oddly enough this dream didn't shift the subject so much; usually when I dream I start dreaming one thing, say, fighting the Hydra from Disney's Hercules, and then it becomes about deep sea diving and trying to dig up this massive pearl while hiding from a man-shark. And when I woke up, the first thing I remembered was, "What the heck is a man-shark?"

I keep getting those dreams where I'm totally aware that I'm dreaming, so I just do whatever I want since I know it's not real. I usually immediately start flying around town.

That's called a lucid dream, I used to have them frequently when I was younger and I loved them. Basically, once you get the idea into your head that you have some control over what happens in your dream, as long as you believe it. Flying is a frequent occurence in those dreams, because what else would you straight away do if you believed you could do anything? Apart from making women lose their clothing at will that is.

I think a lot of my dreams are lucid, for about 6 years now I've had very weird dreams.

Now a dream that I've had since I was really young was that I'm on this little ledge in an enormous white room and I slip off the ledge and there's a huge bear in the middle and I always wake up before I fall right on him.. Or before he eats me lol.
Urgh, I need to become a dream analyst.

Ive had dreams from riding on bikes on an island with the Harry Potter cast to ones about me not being able to swim fast enough upward from a huge whale even to ones where my teeth all fall out and I feel like my mouth is full of sand.

Fun stuff.

Last night's dream was pretty outrageous. Somehow or other I was caught up in some epic fantasy battle, many comrades (don't remember who they were, unfortunately) and I against this army of really high-leveled dudes that would shoot magic at us. I could shoot magic too, and fly, and I guess I was small enough/fast enough to dodge their attacks and kick flaming villain booty. It seemed the final boss gained immense powers through a cursed monster glove. I stab the glove with my sword, killing it dead.

I move further into the dungeon (?) and somehow end up in a building or labyrinth of sorts, full of corridors painted in bright colors, like a modern art piece. Then I see this deformed little old man running toward me, down one of the hallways. And when I say deformed, I mean grotesque, as in classic horror film puppetry a la John Carpenter's The Thing, or Poltergeist, or Hellraiser. So anyway, he's running toward me, shouting "TRUST ME I'M A DOCTOR", or something else about being a doctor, and I see that he's actually chasing a tiny little kid around. And he's not wearing anything. Seems pretty dodgy, so I club him in the head when he gets close enough.

Both the weird old man and the little kid disappear, and I keep walking until I enter a white room. Suddenly Nyuu pops up out of nowhere and happily grabs my chest. Thanks Elfen Lied.

The rest of the dream (before, some middle parts, and after) is a blur. Those were the only parts worth remembering I guess.

I just had a dream where I was protecting someone and had to go through a bunch of swordsmen to cut said person down from a tree before they were killed. I ended up getting hurt quite badly while saving the person and then I asked them to kill me to make the pain stop to which they said no. Then I woke up and now I'm here posting it. I wish I'd quit dreaming about saving people, it's getting old. :\ Uh, sorry if that's not worded very well... I'm tired.

I remember as a kid I used to have this dream that I was sort of in my house, but it was melting, and a Tasmanian-Devil version of Dr. Eggman was chasing me around my melting house and I was like, a failure at hiding, especially when everything would just turn into a puddle. Freaked me out.

Then in around 5th grade, I had a two-night dream that was completely clear and that I recalled perfectly and became my first idea of a "book", though it never really got written, just got the characters down and plotline. Just cool that it all came in a dream.

The only times I have lucid dreams are when I'm either fighting off a menace or someone's trying to kill/hurt me, like a robber or a serial killer. After a big scene, I finally realize I'm in a dream and can kick his arse to Shanghai. I then proceed to tazer, beat, and defenestrate the attacker with my newfound brute strength. :D

And then recently, I keep having recurring dreams where I'm back at the Idol concert, outside, in various situations where I save Adam's life and receive his undying gratitude. <3

I used to get these crazy dreams where I knew I was asleep, so I tried to force myself awake. It's really annoying, because my mind-to-body interactions are very hard to synchronize when I'm still in a sleep like state, so I feel paralyzed, and sometimes I scare myself. Now when it happens, I've been sucessfully able to make my heart beat less rapidly, and calm down and go back to sleep or wait for consciousness to come.

Anyone ever have a freaky dream like that?

I think so, like sometimes it'll be something trying to kill me and I'm pretty much screwed so I'm like "nuts to this, I'm waking up". Usually that wakes me up right away but occasionally it feels like it's not working quick enough. Was that along the lines of what you meant?

I know probably everyone gets dreams like this, but they're the ones when you're trying to run away from something and it just feels like your legs can't move or you keep falling down.
Ugh, I hate dreams like that. :[

When I was a kid closing my eyes in the dream would make me wake up. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaeyes.gif)
I'd know I was dreaming, and wait to see if the dream got good or bad. If it got bad I'd shut my eyes.
And this one time it wouldn't wake me up and I was stuck in the house with a demonic woman who wanted to eat me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalasad.gif) I was eight...

@Lindstrom: Basically, but my reasoning was I just didn't want to be asleep, so when I realized I was, I just HAD to wake up.

-----

Anyway, I had a dream last night that 50 year old Michael Jackson came to the parking lot of an ice cream place or something (I blame Lindstrom for telling me about his meeting with Steven Tyler), and we became like best friends. Also, Tito (from the seventies) kept winking at me. D:
