Well I've always loved the Spiderman movies and occasionally the comics...and even played a few video games (more specifically Spiderman 3 and Spiderman: Friend or Foe).
I liked Tobey Maguire because he was the Spiderman I knew, and James Franco is insanely awesome as Harry/New Goblin. He was a terrible actor, yes, but who else could pull of the amazing Spider-tiger? Before there were rumors that Zac Efron might play as Peter Parker for the reboot of the series, as there will be a new cast. I was raging how a stupid HSM member could NEVER pull it off, and the idea was god darn awful. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalacry.gif) Apparently, I realized the cast has been chosen for the 2012 Spiderman reboot. Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker: http://www.filmbuffonline.com/FBOLNewsreel...rewGarfield.jpg (Um, I don't like or dislike the dude. But the guy is like 27 already and I hardly ever heard of him. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) ) Elena whats-her-name as the lovely MJ Watson: http://images.askmen.com/photos/elena-satine/79409.jpg (She is SO much hotter then Kirsten Dunst) Discussion? I have hope for the reboot. <3 |

I'm pretty sure the new guy playing Peter Parker is the same exact dude who was in the Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.
That freaking movie was wicked cool. EDIT: Yup, that was him lol |

._. I don't get it. Why are they rebooting the series? The original Spiderman movies didn't even come out that long ago. What's the point?

Because both Sam Raimi, the original director, and Tobey Maguire both quit.

What?! I did not know Spiderman was coming back with a new cast. :O And we're supposed to pretend that everyone's face just magically changed? Baa, I hope it's good, at least.

I hope so too.
I liked the movies, even Spiderman 3. Quite entertaining, but Venom DID NOT GET ENOUGH SCREENTIME! and the ending...could have been better. |

^Yeah, Venom didn't. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif)
Well, at least they're continuing the series. Will the next one actually be called "Spiderman Reboot"? |

Venom is my favorite villain. D:
So far, nothing is known. It will be completely refreshed, showing Peter's teenhood/high schoo life or crud like that, I guess. I bow down to graceful God that Zac Efron wouldn't be in this movie. I swear I would suicide on that. |

OH! So, it is like it's going back to the starting. I figured they just continued off of Spider Man 3 with new people. Well, that makes it better, sort of. Kind of weird that they've decided to start over.
Haha! Zac wouldn't really fit in the movie, I think. |

It would be funny if Efron busted out singing.
Yeah, a fresh reboot. If Tobey Maguire didn't lose his contract, or -maybe- the rest of the cast, we would've been waiting for Spiderman 4 by now. |
