I was just wondering does anyone know if you use wonderfuls in this game, or if you use a blacksmith?

I'm pretty sure you use the second windmill you unlock to upgrade tools. And according to the site, wonderfuls can be used to upgrade the windmills.

Ok thank you. Sounds a little more complicated then other games. I really want to try this out thanks again.

I don't think it's too complicated. You take the tool, some lumber, and different ores (I think that's about right) to the windmill and that's all.

I heard the game didn't have mines. So are there mines or do you get ores some other way?

You cross the river or something in the winter to get them. Try looking at a guide here, I don't remember that part very well. You might be able to buy them from LLoyd at the bazaar.

Okay, when it comes to ores, there are several things you can do.

1) You can pay outrageous sums of cash for ores at Lloyd's bazaar stall.

2) If the only ore you need is Gold, you can waste some stamina (Guts) and hop in the river a few times in hopes of picking some up. Just be careful not to use up all of your stamina, because you'll pass out and wake up the next day without having saved or anything.

3) If you come across a dark rock with little bits of color on it, smash it with your hammer. There's a good chance you'll end up with an ore or jewel of some kind. These rocks do have a chance of appearing in all seasons, but you'll really only see a lot of them come winter.

Personally, I'd just wait for winter and hunt ores. I haven't really noticed any particular need for upgraded tools. (Minus the fishing rod, because you do need to upgrade it to collect all of the different types of fish.)

Hehe I knew Lloyd would be a rip-off artist.

Eh. Lloyd's just the stereotypical 'Merchant' type character. Honestly, while it may not be that great of an idea to buy ore from him for personal use, you can buy his stuff and resell it at the next bazaar. It's generally worth quite a bit and selling any big-cash item at your stall - even if you sell it for less than you paid - is a good way to level up your bazaar. But yeah. Lloyd's wares are overpriced. :P

That's such a good idea. Especially once you're really rich you'll be able to upgrade your bazaar really quick and it won't even matter if you lose some money (also is it just me or does Lloyd's glasses look out of place for some reason. I guess they just don't go with his outfit.)

Well, Lloyd's also supposed to fit the role of the 'Cool, Collected, Megane' character. (Megane meaning 'Glasses'. It honestly is a character stereotype despite how silly it sounds. ._.) He's just an amalgamation of the two major stereotypes done in a slightly awkward manner.

Haha that's funny, but I know what you mean (Seriously though when did having glasses make you cool?). They need to stop mixing stereotypes. Just because you added two or more stereotypes together does not make it an interesting character.
