Okay,
So I got PhotoShop CS3. Is there any possible way I can make it look like a girl is holding a sign? and if so any one able to tell me how ;o? |

Are you talking about photo manipulation? It depends on the images you have and the tools you want to use. Generally speaking, you can cut out the sign from another image and place it in the image of the girl. You'll probably have to make adjustments like distorting/transforming the sign so the proportions are right. Some people digitally paint things on the original photo.
Like I said, it depends. Do you have the images? |

Well, there are other different ways of "approaching" this I guess. At least that's what I think and mind you, I'm no professional in this field and I lack experience as well.
You could vectorize the image of the girl (like this for example). Then change the hand from there and add in the sign. OR you could digitally paint in another hand (although it'd be frustratingly hard to do that with a mouse so you might need a tablet) and make it look as if she were holding the sign up to the camera. I don't know, like I said I'm no professional and I'm not sure if there's a simpler way. Though I could try the vectorize-ing thingy for you. :P Edit. Heh. There is a simpler way and it was my first suggestion. It looks a little weird, probably due to the hand's position, the lighting/shadowing, the lack of a visible thumb and a few other things but I tried it out: Click me, yay. |

I mainly used the pen tool (for "cutting" things out), the clone stamp and the liquify tool (for the hand adjustments as well). Those tools are pretty darn useful when it comes to photo manipulation but all the other tools are useful as well. Just experiment with each and you'll find neat ways to do things on Photoshop. :D
Also, here's a compilation of really awesome tutorials you might want to check out. And sure, I'll see if I can fix it. Although I can't guarantee that final result will look awesome. |

Are you trying to fake a sign on a social networking site?
Say, MySpace or something? |

No problemo. ;D
I redid it, this time adding another hand to hold up the sign. It looks a bit weird due to the difference in quality between the image of the hand and of the girl (as well as the fact that the other hand's fingers don't have nail polish), but it's the best version I came up with: Woot. |
