So, Saffy and I started playing again on a whim today. We got to Spring 5th with a good amount of gold in our pockets.

Very interesting. Are you playing the Wii one or the Gamecube version? Not that it really makes a difference I was just wondering. I bet I could find the memory card for my old Magical Melody files. I haven't played that game since Summer last year. I'm gonna find it later, but for now I have to go.

We only have the gamecube versions, but since we both play as the male it wouldn't matter.

Yeah, I figured. I have just never known anyone who had actually gotten the Wii version. So I ask anyways (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalatounge.gif) .

Saffy and I played some more. He left, but I got to the 8th with 3200G. It's nice, because tomorrow the breadfruits grow!

Edit: Wow, we played until the 18th! I made some great progress, and Saffy has stored up a great amount of money.

I have about 25,000G going into Spring 24th. I haven't gone crazy buying everything I could yet like Roger has. Instead I'm waiting for the two plots connecting my town home and Blue Sky Ranch to be available before I go buying animals. Although I might just build a barn or coop on the river property before the end of Spring. I will say that I'm definitely enjoying this playthrough :)

Oh, and the Flower Festival was canceled despite my bringing a flower the night before :|

So we got to Summer 10th. I got a typhoon on the 9th. :| I'm so mad, it messed up my crops and my grass. My grass even had wood in it!

Summer was off to a very slow start, but I'm starting to get on track now. I also have a chicken coop and large barn sitting on the river plot complete with lots of grass :)

That'd be awesome. I don't own Magical Melody and I've only seen a small bit of the gameplay, so that'll be something I can look forward to inbetween playing Twin Villages and Hero of Leaf Valley.

Blue feather's gone. Um...I've only played through this game once, several years ago, and...well...is that all that's supposed to happen?? I mean, I guess I expected SOMETHING else. Like, saying WHEN I'm supposed to get married, for example....

Yeah. The proposal in Magical Melody is pretty uneventful. Actually so is the wedding... And being married in general :/.

I started new files a while back and I'm almost to Winter of my first year. If needed I can do character lines for the Bachelors and some villagers. I could have done the Bachelorettes as well, but I accidentally saved over my guy file. I'm to lazy to befriend them all over.
