The OZ Tournament~Mario Kart Wii

Hey! Welcome to another tournament, a Mario Kart tournament. Lindstrom reminded me that we should do one and so here I am! Zen and I will be hosting it, that is why it is called the "OZ" tournament. So pay attention to us cuz we might say something important. Oh and the winner gets a medal, of course.

Okay, so as of now, the way the races will be done is up for debate, but expect some time trials, point system and maybe weight class requirements. Maybe.

But still sign up and let us hear the way you think the tournament should go! Sign up by posting your code, time zone and the name of your character in MK. (If you joined the Spock-O Tournament, I can go and get your code if you'd like)

Rules
-Sign up ONLY if you plan on finishing the entire tournament. And do not disappear for like a week.
-When you are assigned either a head to head race with everyone or a time trial race, you must finish it within one week! This is very important. If you fail to do this and don't have a valid excuse, then you're out. (Do PM both Zen and I if you plan on leaving for whatever reason)
-If you do lose, do not get mad, just accept it and go on.
-EVERYONE will have to add me and Zen to their friend code list, so we can monitor the time trial races.
-NO Cheating! Do not use the homebrew channel or any other method to cheat.
-Give us your ideas and let us know if you don't like a certain thing.
-Let others know to join!

Eh, head-to-head races? Really? Those are kind of lame, especially when last time we had those big races with a bunch of people. Now that's what Mario Kart is really about.

Team Races might not be a bad idea. Either that or we just do it like we did last time, but with an equal balance of points earned from Grand Prix and Time Trials.

I also prefer the races with many people. They're far more interesting than one-on-one.

So what type of point system did you have in mind? We could still just use the points the game gives you in races, but not sure what to do in time trials. I thought our other system was okay?

Now I want to make at least one round where everyone has to be in a certain weight class. Like for the races I might pick for everyone to be a heavy character and then for time trials everyone has to have a kart and be a light weight character.

That's cool, O-man. :D For the Time Trials, can't we just use the same points you get for getting first if you're doing Grand Prix (and if we get more than 12 players, they all get one point or something)? Like, first you get 15 points, second you get 12, then 10, 9, 8, 7, etc.? Anyway, can't wait! I've actually been playing Mario Kart for the past week and a half. :D I'm already practicing, LOL!

Anyone up for some practice rounds at about, 8-ish? I got some homework I need to finish up. I think I have everyone's codes already, if the people playing were in the last one.

I kind of think having a Karts Only or Bikes Only might be better. Not sure though.
