It's really not that far for me though. I'm usually gone Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

I'll get the game started tomorrow, and I'll post my code and etc.
I play Luigi on the Sugarscoot. Is it cars or bikes only? I don't play cars. |

I don't think we're doing any limiting as far as vehicles/characters go. Usually I like to limit myself by having someone else pick my character and vehicle, but that's a self-imposed challenge, I don't think it would be fair to make anyone else have to learn something they don't want to.

I think mine was 2:08 or so but I know I don't have everyone's friend code entered so I can't tell how it compares. I added them after I did the runs so maybe later they'll pop up.

Dang. I don't think I can get under the 2:10 range. By the way can anyone give me tips to reduce the bounce after the cannon?

This time trial will be a challenge. I'm not sure what my last time was. Ah well. I don't intend to try too hard.

I think if you have the stick/wheel tilted forward or backward you can adjust the angle you land at, which if you do it right can minimize any bouncing. It's kind of hard but it helps if you're trying to go for a wheelie. It's more significant in F-Zero so I'm used to using it.

HMR: I have not even checked, lolz. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lalaexdee.gif) I haven't even tried either.
Umm there will be one round where I wanted to pick if somebody had to have a bike or kart only or a certain weight class. But I'm gonna put up a little vote for it, if most people want it, then we're gonna do it. EDIT: Hey, I can't put up a poll option here? Well, we can do it manually. Who wants to have one round where you will be chosen either to be on a kart or bike or where you will have to be a certain weight class? But never both combined. Vote now! Lolz. EDIT2: So there's no confusion, by a round I mean that you would get picked what weight class to do in time trials (or what type of vehicle) and then when we do our team race you would get picked what vehicle to do it in (or weight class). |

I don't really think we need that kind of rule. I mean, it would be one thing if everyone had a lot of experience with different things, but I think people are settled on what they want to use and what they don't.

I like the idea. It makes the game more challanging, and gives others a chance to win, if, like, Lindstrom sucks at the small weight cars, but HMR rocks at them, it gives HMR a fighting chance...cuz Lind's kinda a beast at this game...and so is Saffy....

I think we should be able to play who we want, no matter the class. Also, multiplayer battles. No one-on-one. Battles or Races are fine, to me. But I like racing better. I've added everyone. |

I've got a lot of experience with all the characters and vehicles, so there really won't be much challenge for me to be playing something different. But I do feel that Bikes have the edge over Karts, so for the races I'll be using the Karts.

Anyone up for some racing later? I have to write up a short paper first, so in about a half hour I should be available.

Okay so votes for the final round being a random round: 3 (I guess you're for it, HMR? And the other two are Zen and I).
Votes against: 2, Lindstrom and Tyler We just need Saffy and Charmy to vote, lolz. And it'll only be the final round. |

I'm for the idea of either the weight class, or the kart or bike, and I like how it'd never be both. For every kart/bike there's basically a clone of that for each weight class. Like take the mach bike for example. The light weight clone of it is the bullet bill bike and the heavy weight version is the flame flyer. There are some differences like speed and acceleration, but they basically work the same, and it's not like we won't have fair warning before the race, so there's always time to practice. So I can't see too much bad, and who knows maybe racers will like the new characters and vehicles they use.

Oh I didn't know there were clones of bikes/karts for each weight class! Good to know. Yeah, I agree, it'll be fun. But we still gotta see what the others say.

Someone clearly explain to me this voting nonsense. I don't feel like reading through a few pages.
