I've been uncharacteristically interested in the Figure Skating as of late.
Blame it on the kid I talk to in Yearbook who brings up these silly subjects.

But either way, my new favorite Olympian is now Johnny Weir, just because he's so flamboyant and cool and stuff. Oh, plus the fact that he went to high school with my youngest older brother, in my hometown and trained there. Which is tight. Yay Johnny Weir and his giant fur hat. :D

Johnny Weir is everything that is wrong with figure skating. The flamboyance and over-the-top costumes show how non-serious his performance is. The men need to be more masculine! Let your skating do the talking.

Did anyone catch the ice-dance finals two nights ago. The Americans and the Canadians delivered two amazing performances. I particularly like the Canadians outfits; simple and understated.

Also anyone witness the speed skating incident of the dutch guy? The country is still in tears I think.
