And that's my main problem with them in general - I don't want to be separated by gender. I hate it when that happens. Back when I was in high school and the occasional class would divide us into boys and girls, I'd want to go over and join the guys just to spit in the teacher's face...

Don't get me wrong, on some level I do like the idea and the possible lulz involved, but... I just don't think we need them. If people really want to talk about that crap, they can put it in Mature Issues or Matters for the Misguided and use the gender input option that was mentioned.

You know, no one has really taken the extra step in making other types of question topics in Matters of the Misguided. I actually expected topics with particular questions about events in our lives. Ah well...

In any case, we could throw other topics into those forums.

Well, if all the intergrationalists don't like the idea of two gender separated forums, why not a joint forum where people can just add that certain groups may not want to read them, you know, as a disclaimer.

Or it could be the same as the old ones, without passwords. Atleast that way, people know what they're getting themselves into if they open a topic of the opposite gender.

I suppose that you could request that moderators delete any posts that aren't specific to the topic, like if you're talking about something that you don't want guys to interfere with we'd just delete all the guy posts.

It's a pointless idea, but it could end up being fun, give it a go if you're bothered.
Maybe make both forums visible to everyone with the appropriate maturity level, but you can only post in your own...? It'd be marginally more entertaining.
Make this a poll so we can have a conclusive decision.
